As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

DEM BONES DISEASE
My topic for discussion this week has been aging. Not because I’m particularly fond of the subject. It seems there’s a whole lot of people in my age group. I recently heard that the fastest growing group in America today … Continue reading
PLANK IN EYE DISEASE
When you get even the smallest speck of dust or pollen in your eye it can cause a ton of discomfort. In Matthew 7:3-5, Jesus says, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and … Continue reading

Yesterday we were invited to attend a baby shower as a family. The new arrival is expected at any time. Anticipation for this event had been highlighted by a quick visit from our South Carolina and Illinois family. Little did … Continue reading
IT’S NOT COMPLICATED
ART & INSPIRATION BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER The simplicity of the Gospel often boggles the mind. We are expected to believe something extraordinary – inconceivable – impossible. We delude ourselves into thinking there has to be more to it … Continue reading
THE WEEK IN REVIEW . . .
Looking back and looking forward both bring challenges and joy. My problem is that I often lose sight of the highlights of the past week and the good things that lay ahead. Many times, we get lost in the mundane … Continue reading

BUILDING FAITH ON THE UNSEEN . . .
Faith is impossible if you rely on reason or logic. Faith means giving up control. Faith is taking for granted a truth that you can’t make sense of. It requires surrender. When we are tested in this world of ours, … Continue reading
HIGHS & LOWS
The image I’ve chosen today is of a vintage roller coaster. To tell the truth, the ups and downs kind of resemble what happens in our daily walk. There are twists and turns, new journeys into the unknown and emotions … Continue reading
SIGNS OF AGING – DROOL . . .

THAT FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL . . .
Most young people are back in school again. Where did the summer go? It seems as though it flew by, but then every season seems to pass quicker when you grow older. As a youngster, I remember the above poem … Continue reading
