As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Dawn Jones at INSPIRATION with an ATTITUDE had an interesting post today about tolerance. It got me to thinking how the devil works and what he’s done slowly sifting through humanity with his minions. His ideology would seem to be spreading … Continue reading
My best friend is facing her final journey. I’m writing this post with her permission, so that it may help others who are going through the same thing. Life is so fragile, so tentative, but really a time of grace … Continue reading
The sun sprinkles a handful of fairy dust upon clinging icicles. Each one hangs on for dear life hoping that tomorrow the thermometer allows them to dwindle a bit, but in reality each day only adds to their girth. That … Continue reading
This series pertains to Jesus’ lineage and the women who played a part in it. I do not claim to be a theologian, but as a dramatist and writer I believe that the Bible is full of stories about average and … Continue reading
Another one from last year. Originally posted 12/15 If you’ve ever read, “The Best Christmas Pageant, Ever!” by Barbara Robinson, you’ll remember how the nativity was portrayed by the five Herdman children – the worst kids in town. The only … Continue reading
This time of year conjures up all kinds of memories of years gone by. I especially remember the warmth of my grandparents’ kitchen. That room, though nothing spectacular, had as its centerpiece an old potbellied, cast iron stove. The smell … Continue reading
“Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.” Plato There are times when you can’t be quiet. I believe Martin Luther had no intention of stirring up such a controversy, but he found himself … Continue reading
