As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

GENERATION REDEEMED

ARE TIMES REALLY CHANGING?
It would be easy to sit here in my old age and ponder the demise of today’s youth, but I find it really hard to do that. I could expound on the differences of kids in my day and the ones … Continue reading

REGRETS
The song, “My Way,” made famous by Frank Sinatra, became a huge success and was a statement of what his life was all about. It started out, “Regrets, I’ve had a few …” OK, a few maybe, but I doubt it. … Continue reading
DO NOT BE AFRAID!
How many times have we told this to our children? How many times have we been told to reach out to someone other than ourselves when things are tough? Life isn’t easy. We face all kinds or trouble from the … Continue reading
The Veteran
He set out young and full of hope. His heart was filled with pride. He left the ones who loved him most. Said ,”I love you,” to his bride. He felt the sting of discipline. He ran until he fell. … Continue reading
End of Autumn
The once brilliant crimson and gilded leaves have all fallen. Only a few persistent “hanger-onners” cling to empty branches. The ominous grey clouds fill with crystals of ice and in no time the desolation will be covered with a blanket … Continue reading
Jesus is our light
Our daily walk is empty when we fail to share God’s light. He shows us how to do this by example through Christ’s life. He’ll ask us when we get there, what we ever did for Him. We can rest assured … Continue reading
My Prayer
Out of the depths of darkest hours, I come to You in prayer. I put away my selfish thoughts and ask that you be there – My words cannot express my needs, but I know you understand. With groans that … Continue reading
The Price of Freedom
What is the price of liberty? Where lies the victor’s prize? Is it in bodies laying still, beneath the cold, dark skies? The cost to win our freedom cannot be seen in life, But in the brave hearts smitten to take away … Continue reading
God Is Not Dead!

I’m met by guilt on every day. It sweeps my peace of mind away. It starts with little things at dawn – why did I go and sleep so long? My socks don’t match – my hair’s a mess. Did … Continue reading

Why do we continue to feel guilt, knowing that we have been set free from all sin by the blood of Jesus? Why do we do things that are hurtful to others, even when we don’t realize we are? If … Continue reading
