As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

STOP THE NOISE
CACOPHONY – A harsh discordant mixture of sounds. Another mid-term election is already in progress. It began many months ago and has ramped into a frenzy of accusations, name calling, hatred, anger and just plain annoying noise. Like the constant … Continue reading
POLITICAL ADS OVERLOAD
Wednesday around here, usually means it’s time for garage sales. We’re getting to the end of the season for that sadly. I love looking at other people’s trash and trying to imagine how to use it in and among my … Continue reading
STOP, ALREADY!
I imagine we’ll be hearing all kinds of stuff about Donald Trump this week. This whole political season has been so predictable and childish. It’s about time we stop talking about Trump’s alleged hatred of women and Hillary’s emails. Let’s … Continue reading
AND THEY’RE OFF!
I don’t think there’s a person in our country that doesn’t know the 2016 presidential race is now officially underway. The first potential female president threw her hat into the ring via a tweet and social media has exploded … Continue reading
I STILL LOVE MY COUNTRY
I grew up in a time where the study of American History was important and when pride in country ran rampant. Something happened somewhere along the way to change that. We had a slight resurgence of it after 9/11, but it … Continue reading
FIRST SNOW
Psalm 146:16-17 He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? It seems a little early for snow, but then I guess it … Continue reading
THE END OR JUST THE BEGINNING?
OK, it’s over – all the hullabaloo and hip-hip hooray – all the millions of dollars wasted on political advertising – all the hidden agendas, the special interest groups, the futile attempts by those who would change the course of … Continue reading
NO MORE SIN – NO MORE GUILT
Why do we continue to feel guilt, knowing that we have been set free from all sin by the blood of Jesus? Why do we do things that are hurtful to others, even when we don’t realize we are? If … Continue reading
MY PRIVILEDGE – MY VOICE
My country has been changing, but her spirit never dies, Her people are the core of her, not all the evil lies. So many lives have gone before to hold her flag with pride. So many tears have long been … Continue reading
