As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

CALM AFTER THE STORM

LESSONS FROM NATURE
A seed drops, It burrows and nestles into rich soil, It springs forth with new life, Fragile branches at first, Growing strong with each passing day, Expanding, stretching, embracing the sky, Reaching for the face of its Creator, It bends … Continue reading
CITY SCAPES
City within a darkened world, has beauty all its own, The wires that lace throughout the space, the litter lying there, The sounds of box cars hooking up, a place where crime is sown, Where homeless search the garbage cans, to find … Continue reading
YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN’T HIDE
When life gets tough, we sometimes feel we have to run away. We look at things much differently with every passing day. It seems too complicated to stay and go the course. We give in to selfish thinking, we give … Continue reading
A LIGHT THAT SHINES FOR ALL
Our world is filled with sadness – depression all around,Where can we turn for comfort when there’s none,The darkness draws around us – no respite can be found,We search for answers but they never come. The days close in upon … Continue reading
WASH ALL OF ME
You came to wash my feet, my hands, my heart and soul. You washed me in your Son’s own blood. You made me clean and whole. From sin’s dark grip you pulled me – from Satan’s hands of steel, Your … Continue reading
EARLY MORNING LIGHT
As the morning light arises, on a pasture green sublime, Sun light kisses trees and branches, balancing the sands of time, Though through danger I will wander, snares are set at every turn, God is there to guard my footsteps, leading me to … Continue reading
TEACH ME TO NUMBER MY DAYS
Our days are numbered in God’s timeline. We don’t know how long, where or when, but we will all die. There is no question about it. We have no control over it. Consider these days He has given us as … Continue reading
FORGIVE US THIS DAY
When bruised and injured we do fall, before our Father’s throneAnd look upon the lamb once slain for all sins to atone,Our pain is nothing next to His, our wounds are all but naught. The blood He shed, His torturous death … Continue reading

BLESSED ASSURANCE
Our voice cries out when troubles come, we close our eyes and pray, The darkest moments will succumb, our minds might tend to stray, Temptation slithers into hearts, deceiving on its way, The lies which cloud our deepest thoughts, can darken any day, Our hope … Continue reading
THE PASSOVER LAMB
Blood flows from a beaten, smitten corpse, hanging on an instrument of torture. This One not taking life, but giving it through holy, precious blood. That is righteousness, bought and paid for the ugliest and most sinister of us. Complete payment … Continue reading
