As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

We arrived safely in Nashville, TN last evening after two days of pretty intensive driving. I guess we now qualify as road warriors. Each day seemed to be filled with clouds, which made it easier to travel, but those clouds … Continue reading
Most of us don’t go into a relationship thinking it’s simply temporary. We think long term, from here to eternity, everlasting kind of love. The kind of love that never ends, because your love is special. But every relationship here … Continue reading
When I was just a girl of seventeen, I received a valentine from a young man who had been a best friend since beginning high school. It included a handwritten version of Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s famous love sonnet. At the … Continue reading
ORIGINAL ART & INSPIRATION BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER© The art in this post doesn’t really have to do with love, but I love it. Reminiscent of Northwest Coast art, and if you use your imagination, you can actually see … Continue reading
52 years ago today, I married the man of my dreams. He didn’t come on a white horse. He didn’t promise me a life of luxury. He had become my best friend in high school at the age of 14. … Continue reading
Yesterday, as I watched my husband vigorously lift and haul things out of our basement, my heart jumped for joy. These past few years he’s undergone treatment for prostate cancer as well as enduring a small stroke. He’s always had … Continue reading
