As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

In Jesus’ time, there was little regard for women. The traditions and laws of the Jews were extremely hard on them. Women were allowed to be in the Outer Court of the temple, so they could see and hear what … Continue reading
WHO IS GOD?
I came across some verses in Proverbs 30 today which describe who God is. These words are powerful, just like God is. These words show His omniscience (knowledgeable of all things,) – omnipresence (always present and available,) – omnipotence (all powerful.) They also … Continue reading

THE YEARS IN BETWEEN – PROPHESY FULFILLED
Painting “Jesus and His Mother,” by Del Parson I love the above painting, because it shows so much more than a boy and His mother. The painting depicts his devotion to His family. Jesus wasn’t like any other child. He … Continue reading
THE YEARS IN BETWEEN – RELIGIOUS LIFE
Both Mary and Joseph were from the lineage of King David. They followed the laws of the Old Testament and devoutly studied the scriptures each day. They would have insisted on that within their family. The command to raise a … Continue reading

EYES WIDE OPEN
We’ve had a taste of feasting our eyes on other people’s eyes in the past three years. Masking has made it difficult for us to get a clear picture of what a person is actually thinking, but our eyes tell … Continue reading
TEMPESTUOUS TUESDAY
This week I’m looking at words we don’t use very often, but they have a profound impact, nonetheless. Now that I mention it, the word “nonetheless” doesn’t get used on a daily basis either, but I’ll save that for another … Continue reading
