As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

EAT, DRINK & BE MERRY?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could simply hit the reset button and start over with an absolutely clean slate? It seems to be the way we handle things today. When something stops doing what it’s supposed to do, we … Continue reading
TEMPESTUOUS TUESDAY
This week I’m looking at words we don’t use very often, but they have a profound impact, nonetheless. Now that I mention it, the word “nonetheless” doesn’t get used on a daily basis either, but I’ll save that for another … Continue reading
HE KNEW . . .
As the days wore on leading up to the Passover Feast, Jesus continued to teach. It seemed to Mary that He was more urgent in His message. There was so much He wanted His followers to know and yet He knew … Continue reading
BLESSED ASSURANCE
Our voice cries out when troubles come, we close our eyes and pray, The darkest moments will succumb, our minds might tend to stray, Temptation slithers into hearts, deceiving on its way, The lies which cloud our deepest thoughts, can darken any day, Our hope … Continue reading
IS REFORM NECESSARY?
The Christian church is under attack today, just as it always has been. The Word of God is being challenged daily and rewritten for man’s advantage. When God inspired His human scribes to pen the words He wanted them to … Continue reading
I HAVEN’T GOT A CLUE!
There are days like that, when I simply don’t have a clue. I don’t understand why the world is rotating the way it is. I can’t begin to understand the workings of our nation’s leadership and Washington, DC is just … Continue reading
FRESH AIR?
The image in this post shows the pollution that comes from forest fires, spreading insidiously across the skies and infiltrating the fresh air to the east of it. This is what’s going on in our firmament here in Minnesota and … Continue reading
KAELI’S ROAD TO GRADUATION
The day you were born, I began to live again. You touched parts of my heart that I didn’t realize existed. As I watched you grow and with each step you took in your young journey, I was right there … Continue reading
TELLING THE GOOD GUYS FROM THE BAD
The above is a comprehensive list of characteristics which define the antagonist of a story. I would assume that the good guy would be just the opposite of the bad guy. In the old days it was easy to tell … Continue reading
WHERE DOES YOUR STRENGTH COME FROM?
It’s summertime here in Minnesota. Fish are jumping and the corn will be knee high by the fourth of July. Folks are venturing out of their cocoons as restrictions are slowly lifted – some with the frenzy of anxiety driving … Continue reading
TIME FOR AN UPGRADE
With all the social distancing and isolation we might think about some of those tasks we should’ve gotten done, wished we had the energy to do or play it by ear and use the materials at hand. I should be … Continue reading
WORDS OF TRUTH
Our world has been around for between 5 and 6 thousand years. Of course, there are many who would disagree with that statement, but most of them don’t believe in God nor in His creation timeline. Unfortunately, in our history … Continue reading
WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND
With an ever changing economy and uncertain times, it’s hard for most people to get by much less think about leaving an inheritance for their families. Although many contend that it’s important to work hard and store up treasures for … Continue reading

WRITTEN ON THE WIND

TRUST IN GOD’S PLAN
Being strong isn’t always about the amount of weight you can lift or the size of your biceps. Strength can be determined by your dedication to a project – your ability to encourage another person – your willingness to tackle … Continue reading

I PREFER THE SHORCUT
The story of “Alice in Wonderland” has undergone a lot of scrutiny over the years. Some say it was written by one who was under the influence or just plain crazy. Others look for metaphorical genius within the words of … Continue reading
THE GOOD, BAD & UGLY
History wasn’t my strong suit in high school. I was a pretty average student, but had a teacher that seemed to find it necessary to relive the Civil War on the top of his desk. He would lead the various … Continue reading
