As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

A new life emerges. Air fills His little lungs. He lets out a big scream. His mother swaddles Him in strips of cloth already prepared for this journey. She snuggles Him tightly and kisses his curly head. This child entered … Continue reading
A PROMISE-FILLED JOURNEY
The months leading up to this journey were filled with shame, humility, fear, doubt and at times confusion. Mary had been given news of her purpose in God’s plan of salvation. She accepted the task with wonder. Even though she … Continue reading
ANGELS AMONG US
Your life seems to be traveling along normally and then, out of nowhere, another stumbling block – another unexpected surprise – another problem. It’s at those times we need God’s protection the most. I know He has an army of … Continue reading
DON’T BE AFRAID

ANGELS WE HAVE HEARD
What are your first thoughts when you hear the word, “angel?” The word alone has so many connotations. It stirs the mind into thinking of something supernatural – something ethereal – beautiful – terrorizing – fearful yet comforting. My thoughts … Continue reading
ANGEL OF THE LORD
Another one from last year. Originally posted 12/15 If you’ve ever read, “The Best Christmas Pageant, Ever!” by Barbara Robinson, you’ll remember how the nativity was portrayed by the five Herdman children – the worst kids in town. The only … Continue reading
MY GUARDIAN ANGEL
I have a pretty good picture of what my guardian angel looks like. He probably started out as naïve and innocent as I appeared to be when I first appeared in this world. Over the years, he’s become scarred, bumped, … Continue reading
ENTERTAINING ANGELS UNAWARES
Sometimes it seems that God has deserted us. Just when I start thinking that way, I recall all the times when God’s angels interceded in my life. There was the time I worked at a loan company and two … Continue reading
