As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE MESSIAH IS HERE – PART ELEVEN
Today I’ve chosen to write about two characters instead of just one. The couple is typical of the time of Jesus’. The woman tends to all the domestic needs of the home, while her husband provides a living for the … Continue reading
PREPARED?
Skies of grey, tempered by peeks at the sun, Intermittently drifting in and out, We know it’s coming, We’ve been prepared, Winter, like aging is the final season, We know it’s coming, We’ve prepared, We’ve confessed and repented, Death is … Continue reading
MAKE A STRAIGHT PATH . . .
Life is but a breath in the scheme of things. We take our first inhalation of air and begin a journey. So far we’ve been safely enshrouded within our mother’s womb – Protected from the elements, encased in a familiar … Continue reading
ARE WE EVER READY?
We’re living in terrifying times. Fear grasps our throats and we choke on it. We’re slowly and cleverly being devoured by evil. It’s a problem old as time. In my lifetime alone, I’ve experienced the fear of invasion from foreign … Continue reading
LITTLE LAMBS
Mary remembered how her Son loved children. He was the oldest child so often had to look after His siblings. He never seemed to mind caring for them. He looked like a little shepherd, tending His sheep. He played with … Continue reading
SPRING, SPRING, SPRING
“Every field wears a bonnet With some spring daisies on it, Even birds of a feather show their clothes off together. Sun’s gettin’ shinery, to spotlight the finery, Spring, Spring, Spring.“ FROM “SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS” I love musical … Continue reading
I’M LIVING IN NARNIA!
“Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight, At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more, When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death, And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.” … Continue reading
HOW COULD IT BE?
How could it be that God would send His own Son in the flesh to save the world from the captivity of sin? How can it possibly be true that a little child, born in complete poverty, with no royal … Continue reading
PREPARE FOR THE SECOND COMING
They waited for generations. Not since the days of King David and his wise son, Solomon, had there been such anticipation. They would wait for a long, long time. They would be persecuted, live in slavery, become a nomadic nation … Continue reading

HEY, AIRMAN!
My mother always said, there was nothing more handsome than a man in uniform. I find that amusing, since her husband never served in the military and never wore any kind of uniform. When my man decided to fill his … Continue reading

ARE YOU READY?
An open grave awaits the arrival of a new owner. Pall bearers gently remove a casket from its temporary home and set it upon a waiting bier. After tears and prayers it will be lowered into the dark, freshly dug soil and eventually … Continue reading
PREPARE THE WAY . . .
My relative, Elizabeth had a child shortly before my Son was born. It was quite astounding since she was way beyond child bearing years. However, this was all part of God’s amazing plan for the world. When her son, John … Continue reading
