This painting by Paul shows a beautiful sky filled with various kinds of clouds. God provides so much beauty for us as we walk this journey of life. Even when the heavens reveal storms closing in, He is there to clear up the clouds.

When days become diluted with busyness of living,

It messes with our vision, as if closing all the blinds,

Our thoughts become polluted, our lives are unforgiving,

Our heads become befuddled, and shadows fill our minds.

The light that sweeps the darkness from our most confusing state,

Cannot by coins be purchased, will not be found by hiding,

It’s light that comes from Heaven and it leads us to its gate,

We see that light in Jesus – His precious love abiding.

His Word is our connection, His promises will come true,

He carries us through sadness.  He guides us through pain and loss,

His life He laid down gladly, His love covers me and you,

There is no more confusion, when we focus on the cross.

The clouds of desolation will be washed away from me,

Through the pure life of Jesus, by suffering in our place,

God breathed His resurrection; through His love we are set free,

Heaven opens its grand door, and we’ll meet Him face to face

Psalm 119:130 “The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
