As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

FORGIVEN, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
We often tend to give into the devil’s claim that we should wallow in our guilt. How could God forgive a wretch like me? I’ve not shown Him the honor He deserves – my life is full of imperfections – … Continue reading
HEAL OUR LAND!
Dear, Lord, it seems that each day brings another story of man’s inhumanity towards others. Have we become so calloused and numb to the fact that there is a simple solution to this problem? I know that evil exists … Continue reading
BRING ON THE KIDS
The Gospel message is so beautiful in its simplicity. Our human minds want it to be more. We want to be able to wrap our intelligence around it and figure it out, but God is so awesome, He’s already done … Continue reading

WHEN I GROW WEARY
There are days when I wonder if I have enough energy to make it through another hour – when my body cries out for relief – when the work continues long after the body has been spent. Every muscle and … Continue reading
REJOICE IN YOUR GIFTS
I wrote this last June after the completion of my children’s performance. It still fits as we close another show tonight. Every time my little group of young, aspiring actors complete a show, it makes my heart swell with pride. … Continue reading
ON WITH THE SHOW
Tonight I am blessed to see the fruit of five months of hard, yet fun, work with a group of young actors. As with any important endeavor, the result is often the greatest reward, but we must never forget who … Continue reading
IT’S FRIDAY!

WEDNESDAY – NEW DAY
Dr. Seuss was a word master. Within his fun little verses he held great wisdom. We all have a choice which direction we choose for our lives. Choice is not just a term used for selfish reasons, it can be … Continue reading
HELL EXISTS
Depths of anguish – eternal fire parching swollen, thirsty lips – never ending pain, not experienced in life – inescapable hopelessness – constant falling deeper and deeper – no finish, no escape, no peace from suffering emotionally, physically, spiritually … Continue reading
SANCTUARY
Where do you go to escape the noisiness of life, the frustrations, the fears and worries? When I was a kid, I always retreated to my closet. It was a dark, quiet place where no one could hear my words of … Continue reading
WORDS OF WISDOM FROM GRANDMA TO GRANDSON
i posted this on May 21, 2014 as my grandson graduated from high school. He has now completed his first year of college and is living in a different state. I thought re-posting it today would honor the new challenges … Continue reading
THE BLAME GAME
We seem to be living in an era where passing the buck is a common problem. When we’re late for an appointment, we blame traffic or a missed or a difficult spouse or child for holding us up. When we … Continue reading
PUT THE BEST CONSTRUCTION ON IT
How can there be opportunity in tragedy? How do you make something good out of an excruciatingly painful situation? How do you find a silver lining when your life is filled with nothing but stormy skies? It’s not … Continue reading
Ascension Day
40 days had passed since his brutally crushed body was raised from death and He appeared to His followers. Some thought He was a ghost, others doubted it was Him. In that short span of time, He proved that … Continue reading
THE HARVEST
Like any gardener or farmer, I often grow impatient. I want to see results within days of my planting. I soon remember that in this blogging world of ours, there are many seeds being planted each day. The seeds don’t just … Continue reading
OLD LADY THOUGHTS
Lately I’ve been feeling I should stop blogging – that maybe I’m just preaching to the choir, even though they need preaching to just as much as anyone. I’ve wondered if ego has sometimes gotten in the way. Do the … Continue reading
I LOVE YOU, MOM
My mom was my hero. I gave her a run for her money and probably was the cause of her prematurely greying hair, but that didn’t deter her from taking anything she faced in life. She didn’t hesitate to … Continue reading
