As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Yom Kippur began yesterday at sunset and will end today at nightfall. The Jewish calendar notes this day as the holiest of days. It’s a time of fasting, worship and confession. In Old Testament times, a sacrifice accompanied the celebration. A perfect, unblemished … Continue reading
SAYING GOODBYE

Ascension Day
40 days had passed since his brutally crushed body was raised from death and He appeared to His followers. Some thought He was a ghost, others doubted it was Him. In that short span of time, He proved that … Continue reading
NUMBER MY DAYS
Our days are numbered in God’s timeline. We don’t know how long, where or when, but we will all die. There is no question about it. We have no control over it. Consider these days He has given us as … Continue reading
SPIRIT
You were there when the mountains were carved, when life exploded, When rivers were formed and when man was created from the dust. You fill men with courage, honor, conscience, love, peace, endurance, faith, You danced upon the heads of … Continue reading
JUSTICE
The only justice for a life of sin is death. Every person that walks the earth is guilty no matter how good they may appear. We have all been judged by God and fallen short of His expectations. When … Continue reading
INSPIRATION
What started as an ember which seemed to be snuffed out, Was quickly revived by the breath of God. He whispered His true amazing grace to those who would believe. His Spirit fanned the dying beam and inspired it with … Continue reading

HE BELONGS TO THE AGES
He knew his time was drawing near. His little band of men and a handful of followers went back to Bethany to spend one more day with his friends. It seemed appropriate. He had spent many happy hours in their home. When … Continue reading
