As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE LIFE OF AN ARTIST
An artist is a unique human being, often spending years learning their craft, perfecting and making a living at it. Unfortunately, the artist is up against much competition and most of them aren’t acknowledged for their work until they die. You must continue to … Continue reading
FORGIVEN, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
We often tend to give into the devil’s claim that we should wallow in our guilt. How could God forgive a wretch like me? I’ve not shown Him the honor He deserves – my life is full of imperfections – … Continue reading
REJOICE IN YOUR GIFTS
I wrote this last June after the completion of my children’s performance. It still fits as we close another show tonight. Every time my little group of young, aspiring actors complete a show, it makes my heart swell with pride. … Continue reading
DECORATION DAY
They called it Decoration Day so many years ago, We’d dress our bikes with crepe paper to let our neighbors know, Our pride was in the best place yet for all of us to grow, Though times have changed and … Continue reading
Ascension Day
40 days had passed since his brutally crushed body was raised from death and He appeared to His followers. Some thought He was a ghost, others doubted it was Him. In that short span of time, He proved that … Continue reading
I LOVE YOU, MOM
My mom was my hero. I gave her a run for her money and probably was the cause of her prematurely greying hair, but that didn’t deter her from taking anything she faced in life. She didn’t hesitate to … Continue reading
PRAY
Do you ever wonder if your prayers are being heard or if they even matter? When you think about it, there are over seven billion people in the world. Not all of them pray, but if even half of … Continue reading

WHERE CAN I GO?
We all have special places of refuge – a quiet sanctuary, a peaceful meadow, a glorious forest, the mountains. It’s a place we go when the world is just too much to bear – where we can hide for a while … Continue reading
SPIRIT
You were there when the mountains were carved, when life exploded, When rivers were formed and when man was created from the dust. You fill men with courage, honor, conscience, love, peace, endurance, faith, You danced upon the heads of … Continue reading
TIME OUT
A time out is one way for kids to think about their behavior and how to change it. We used to call it standing in the corner. It would be great if adults could have time outs too – a little time to bathe … Continue reading
INTERNATIONAL JUGGLERS’ DAY
There is a day designated for just about everything. How appropriate that today is International Jugglers’ Day. It’s only a few days after taxes are due, so we all are naturally thinking about how we can juggle things so we … Continue reading
WHO AM I TO JUDGE?
Sometimes in our effort to help or encourage others, we might come off as judgmental or condescending. I’m guilty of this. I often try to use examples in my life for others who may be experiencing a similar problem. Unfortunately everyone … Continue reading
THANK YOU, JESUS!
My old body had become victim of a flu bug and I was unable to attend Good Friday services. Instead I would have to view it on a podcast rather than in person. It saddened me because this is such … Continue reading
HE BELONGS TO THE AGES
He knew his time was drawing near. His little band of men and a handful of followers went back to Bethany to spend one more day with his friends. It seemed appropriate. He had spent many happy hours in their home. When … Continue reading
MISSION TO SAVE
It was the start of a week filled with emotional highs and lows. On Sunday, I watched with the crowds as he entered the city on a donkey and was received with shouts off Hosanna. There were those who had come … Continue reading
GOD AND MAN
He spoke about the destruction of the temple and we all thought he was talking about the building in Jerusalem. He talked of things beyond our human comprehension. He quoted scripture as if he had authored the words. His advice … Continue reading
HE WAS CHANGING THE WORLD
The crowds grew day by day. Soon there were so many, he had to go to the top of a mountain to speak to them. They waited eagerly and hung on every word he had to say. Many of those words … Continue reading
