As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THEY CAME TO HEAR

My relative, Elizabeth had a child shortly before my Son was born. It was quite astounding since she was way beyond child bearing years. However, this was all part of God’s amazing plan for the world. When her son, John … Continue reading

The little boy I watched grow from a tiny, helpless infant was now a strong , young man with confidence in His step, determination on His face and love in His heart. It was difficult to understand how such an ordinary child … Continue reading
A WEDDING TO REMEMBER

WHO IS THIS CHILD?
God created life before it existed. He carved the mountains into majestic peaks – He filled the seas with living things – He looked at the heavens and placed the stars and planet. Each tree was planted perfectly by Him … Continue reading
NOT AN ORDINARY BABY
Hands and feet swollen, tired and sore from the treacherous journey. Belly full and heavy with child. A journey that wasn’t required of her, yet it was. Had she not travelled the rugged road to Bethlehem with Joseph, the prophesy would … Continue reading
JUST A BABY BOY

ANTICIPATION
This is the season of anticipation. We look forward with hearts wide open to what’s coming. Like the little child who can’t wait to open his presents – or the grandma longing to be with her family again – or the young … Continue reading
WAKE UP!
The holiday season is filled with preparation in many ways. We often have a million things to do to get ready, but what are we preparing for? If we look at the original story of the coming of Jesus, His … Continue reading
A POWERFUL TYRANT
As a playwright, I find it helpful to get to know the characters involved in any dramatic setting. The story of Christmas is packed with many faceted characters who all fit the gigantic puzzle God was laying out for mankind. … Continue reading
ALL IN GOD’S TIMING
An empty cradle sat collecting dust in the quiet home of an elderly couple. Carved many years ago, by anxious hands – filled with soft blankets of lambs wool. Time passed and still the cradle remained empty. A sad scenario for many … Continue reading
GET READY! THE KING COMETH!
They waited for generations. Not since the days of King David and his wise son, Solomon, had there been such anticipation. They would wait for a long, long time. They would be persecuted, live in slavery, become a nomadic nation … Continue reading
REST IN HIS ARMS
In less than a week, the Paris government has made several air attacks on ISIS and eliminated the mastermind of the tragedy which occurred last Friday. In the meantime, our president calls for calm and not reacting on emotion. Would … Continue reading
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
This morning, the sky was filled with dark, ominous clouds as the sun patiently tried to push its way through them. A luminous glow danced across the tree tops, illuminating the frost that clung to their branches. Against that blackened … Continue reading
GOD IS THE ANSWER
Terrorism strikes fear into all hearts and minds. Our human nature tells us to fight back – to stand up for what we believe – to give in to our feelings. By doing so, we have already lost the battle. … Continue reading
EARLY THANKSGIVING
Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving at our house. I know we’re early, but it has become a tradition for us, since my husband and son are Wisconsin hunters and hunting opens the week of Thanksgiving. In a way I feel blessed to … Continue reading
THE WORD HE STILL WILL LET REMAIN
As a historical event, reformation isn’t anything new. Changes occur all the time, but the Lutheran reformation occurred at just the perfect time in history. With the invention of the Gutenberg printing press, mass production of the Bible could be placed in the hands … Continue reading
