As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

PEACE BETWEEN GOD & MAN
What is happening in our world today? We certainly don’t see much evidence of peace with wars raging in Ukraine and Israel. We don’t see peace in our own country as we’re still a divided nation in so many ways. Disputes erupt on … Continue reading
A ROAD TRIP ADVENTURE
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all … Continue reading
MODERN DAY PIONEERS
My ancestors were what I would call, true pioneers. They trudged across country with horses and covered wagons to begin a new life. The women gathered buffalo chips to start campfires – did their laundry in a muddy river or … Continue reading
A BALANCING ACT
We’re all under pressure at times. We all need someone to share our burdens with, even those who spend a lifetime trying to encourage others. When the added stress of the outside world enters in, we’ve got a recipe for … Continue reading
FINDING PEACE
ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER© Where is that peaceful, quiet place that you are longing for, Is it in empty moments while waiting to do more, Will you find peace and contentment among the birds that sing, Or does … Continue reading
DO YOU FEEL LIKE A FAILURE?
We all have days that start out with plans to take on the world only to have them dashed the minute we take one step out of bed. Who knew there would be a Lego underfoot? No matter how strong we … Continue reading
IT’S ONLY A TEST
As a child, one of my greatest fears was taking tests. There were the usual tests in school, a test for a drivers license, a blood test and so on. As I grew older, I thought the testing would end. Little … Continue reading
A DELICATE BALANCE
We are experiencing some wonderful weather here in the Midwest. Days are growing shorter, but each moment is filled with fresh, clean air – gorgeous sunrises and sunsets – colors that defy any artist’s palette – and treasured amounts of … Continue reading
