As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
It’s been less than a week since we ushered in Easter and praised God for conquering death so we would be guaranteed eternal life. How’s that working for you? How soon we forget the glorious message of hope and promise. … Continue reading
JESUS LOVES CHILDREN
Some of the things I worried about as a child seem insignificant now. Today children are faced with more serious issues than I ever dreamed of. The technological age has opened a whole new world for them and along with … Continue reading
LIKE A DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS
ORIGINAL ART & INSPIRATION BY PAUL T. & KATHY BOECHER© Last night as we drove home from the country, I half expected to have a deer jump out into the darkened roads. The sun goes down much earlier now and deer have been known … Continue reading
SOME DAYS STUFF HAPPENS
Yesterday started out as an amazing day. We’ve had our share of ups and downs on this roller coaster of selling & buying a house, so it was refreshing to begin the morning with worship and praise. Church is always the best way … Continue reading
OVERLOAD
This has been quite a week. We’re in the midst of a garage sale, downsizing our living space, getting rid of a lot of unnecessary clutter in our life and looking forward to more organization in our lives. Add to … Continue reading
AND SO IT BEGINS …
40 days without nourishment – living in a vast emptiness – alone, weary, hungry, weak, easy prey for the adversary. Jesus was about to begin His ministry as the Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness to be tempted by the … Continue reading
DO YOU FEEL LIKE A FAILURE?
We all have days that start out with plans to take on the world only to have them dashed the minute we take one step out of bed. Who knew there would be a Lego underfoot? No matter how strong we … Continue reading
I’LL TRY HARDER TOMORROW
Scarlet O’Hara was one who always got her heart’s desire, until the Civil War. Her entire life changed in just a matter of time when the country became entangled in a nasty conflict that pitted brother against brother and took … Continue reading
