As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

GOD, BE IN MY HEAD!
H. Walford Davies composed the hymn, “God, be in my Head,” and it was published in 1910. It has undergone some changes in arrangement over time, but the words remain the same. Those words sum up the Christian walk from … Continue reading
ANGER HAS A SHORT FUSE
Who can forget the trouble Wylie Coyote got into as he pursued the infamous Road Runner. It all began with a stick of dynamite and a short fuse. The same was true for dear, sweet Elmer Fudd. He also was … Continue reading
A BALANCING ACT
We’re all under pressure at times. We all need someone to share our burdens with, even those who spend a lifetime trying to encourage others. When the added stress of the outside world enters in, we’ve got a recipe for … Continue reading
LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION
40 days without nourishment – living in a vast emptiness – alone, weary, hungry, weak, easy prey for the adversary. Jesus was about to begin His ministry as the Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness to be tempted by the … Continue reading
OLD & NEW
Like the Fiddler on the Roof, I love tradition but it doesn’t carry the same punch it used to. Maybe it’s because we want to make new traditions that fit our lifestyle and some of the old ways are nothing more than old-fashioned. Did … Continue reading
IS IT TIME FOR ANOTHER REFORMATION?
Originally posted by atimetoshare.me on 10/31/15 Throughout history the world has managed to corrupt everything that comes from God’s Word, the Bible. This distortion continues today when we hear how many churches have eliminated using the Law of God, because … Continue reading
CONFIRMATION DAY
Today is a special day in the church year. We celebrate the day when the disciples became filled with the Holy Spirit and began their task of taking God’s wonderful news to the world – Pentecost Sunday. Today is also … Continue reading
LITTLE SINS
Dawn Jones at INSPIRATION with an ATTITUDE had an interesting post today about tolerance. It got me to thinking how the devil works and what he’s done slowly sifting through humanity with his minions. His ideology would seem to be spreading … Continue reading
WHERE IS THE TRUTH?
I grew up on fairy tales. These stories filled my brain with hopes of finding the perfect mate, the wonderful life, the answers to all my dreams and hopes. Unfortunately, those stories were also filled with fearful characters that got … Continue reading
DOES GOING TO CHURCH MAKE YOU A CHRISTIAN?
Many think that they’re above reproach or no longer considered sinful if they simply attend church. Many are also there because they feel safe from the world outside. Some even use church as a place to compensate for the sins … Continue reading
RANSACK THE SCRIPTURES
I think it’s so cool how different Bible passages can be useful in so many ways, especially when you are going through some kind of trial. Many years ago, when I was feeling useless and even hopeless, a dear friend … Continue reading
