As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

EXPERIMENTATION- GENETICS – CONSPIRACY -BRAINWASHING

A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF US
Our week was filled to overflowing with visits from dear friends on Monday – a view of another friend’s beautiful garden and short visit with them. Tuesday was spent with church friends at breakfast, made possible by those friends’ generosity. … Continue reading
PUTTING BOUNCE BACK INTO YOUR STEP

LIVE YOUR LIFE
When we’re limited by our age, by our health, our thinking, we tend to hold back on things we might still be able to do. I’m learning this more and more each day. Yesterday, a simple task of picking up … Continue reading
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO LET GO?
The idea of wrestling with God seems pointless to me. The results are obvious. We can’t win that battle, no matter how hard we try. Every struggle in life has a connection to that very subject. When we come into … Continue reading
SUMMER VACATION – FAMILY STYLE
ART BY PAUL BOECHER Summer vacations – ah, the days of swimming at the lake, long walks, lazy days, fun times with family. I remember one family vacation in particular when our two oldest were in high school and our … Continue reading
MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER
I’ve posted this article many times but keep hoping that someday I will be a great-grandmother. The post was submitted to “Chicken Soup for the Soul” a few years ago and appears in their book, “My Crazy Family.” Hope you … Continue reading
FRIDAY FUNNIES FOR OLD FOGIES

GENDER BLENDER
I’m certain to get a reaction from my post today. It is not my intention to judge. I am a sinner, just like everyone else on this planet. Everyone I know, knows I believe in God. I trust everything in … Continue reading
WHAT IS THAT ONE THING?

OUR WEEK IN REVIEW – LOOKING BACK & FORWARD
I’ve decided to keep track of some of the lessons we’re learning as we enter this challenging part of our life’s journey together. Some of you may get tired of hearing our story. Some may learn along with us. Some … Continue reading
THINE IS THE POWER . . .
ART BY PAUL T. BOECHER Paul and I recently sorted through some pictures we’ve stored over on our phones. We came upon this painting that Paul did a while back. He sent it to me to share on my blog … Continue reading
SOMETIMES IT’S GOOD TO BE ALONE
Being alone is not always a bad thing. When we’re alone, we often tend to feel lonely – apart from others – let down – fearful – confused. Those same emotions can cover us when we’re in a room filled … Continue reading
TRUSTING GOD ALONE
It’s been hot all week. In Minnesota anything more than a couple of days in the 90’s is considered a heat wave. We have extremes here in the Tundra, but it always amazes me how God provides for all of … Continue reading
ONE NATION UNDER GOD . . .
I realize the fourth of July doesn’t come around until next Tuesday, but this is holiday that holds the key to the foundation of our country. In just over two hundred years, we might not recognize the America of 1776. … Continue reading
GOD’S PLAN OR MINE?
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 This proverb might like an old-fashioned idea. Aren’t we supposed to do what WE can to prosper? We have the mind and the talent to accomplish … Continue reading
