As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF!

THE SILENCING OF A NATION
My dear blogging friend, Julie Cook – cookiecrumbstoliveby.wordpress.com – has a beautiful site which often expresses her disappointment with what’s happening in our country. Unfortunately, it seems when we have an opinion these days, it’s often seen as stirring the … Continue reading
IF YOU DON’T MIND, IT DOESN’T MATTER
Actually the above statement is untrue. I haven’t been to the doctor in over a year. The only medical attention I’ve had recently is getting my COVID19 shot. My doctor, however, is an amazing woman. I miss seeing her, because … Continue reading
A SAMPLING OF MY NOVEL
I am still writing the novel I thought I had finished last year at this time. After re-reading, having others look at it and giving an opinion, I have decided to revisit it. The book is called, “Until Our Dying … Continue reading
IN GOD ALONE
This is a rerun, but seems appropriate this year as well as the same time last year. However it was pre-pandemic and oh how things have changed – or have they? Originally posted 9/25/2019. We, the people, have been bombarded … Continue reading
ARE YOU ACTIVE OR PASSIVE?
Passivity is a term best described as being a couch potato. The Oxford Dictionary describes it as, “acceptance of what happens, without active response or resistance.” Lately I’ve found myself going to the couch more often than I’ve ever done. … Continue reading
A BIG FAT CHESS GAME

LAND OF THE FREE
All the hubbub of standing for our National Anthem at any sporting event is taking the spotlight big time. Who would’ve thought that our nation, built on the blood of brave men and women, would be called out for singing … Continue reading

I, like many, had my doubts when I went to vote last November. I wasn’t convinced in my heart of hearts that my decision to vote for Donald Trump was the sagest idea I ever had. He was brash, earthy, condescending … Continue reading

WHY BLOG?
When I started blogging three years ago, I never dreamed it would become such a time consuming endeavor. I’ve always felt strongly about certain issues, yet never felt comfortable confronting them face to face with others. Writing has allowed me … Continue reading
A WOMAN OF VIRTUE
When the Feminist Movement got underway in the 60’s, women applauded the rights they demanded. They burned their bras in protest. They shed all evidence of the things they felt were binding them or holding them back. Their cry for equality … Continue reading
