As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THROW BACK THURSDAY – PERPETUITY
Perpetuity is one of those words we don’t make a lot of use of, but it’s one that should be brought forth again from time to time. It means timeless – eternal – everlasting – forever – to infinity and … Continue reading
SUNDAY SERENITY
God set this day aside for a day of rest. He had a pretty busy week prior to the final day of creating the world, the universe, every living thing. He established night and day and placed all the stars, … Continue reading
FRACTURED FRIDAY
There’s something about Peter Pan that always rings true for me. I never wanted to grow up. It’s not that I’m irresponsible. In fact, I’d consider myself quite responsible. Yet the idea of remaining childlike has always appealed to me. … Continue reading
THROWBACK THURSDAY – PERSISTENCE
God gives us some good advice in James 1:3 & 4. He tells us to hang in there; to hold on to our beliefs; to trust in His wisdom. It isn’t always easy to do that, especially when our lives … Continue reading
WEDNESDAY WISDOM

WEDNESDAY WISDOM – STORMS
Standing alone in a storm as wind tears through the trees is not only frightening but lacks wisdom. Our bodies grow tense, the adrenaline flows, and all our emotions explode into a procession of fear. The branches entangle and caress one another. … Continue reading
LAST MOTHER’S DAY MESSAGE
Last week I posted something every day about mothers. Yesterday was Mother’s Day and I didn’t post a word. I basked in the love of my family, even though we weren’t all together, I know that I was in their … Continue reading
WEDNESDAY WISDOM – SUPER HERO MOM
Fortunately, I was young when I had my children. As we age our patience runs out – our energy wanes – our tolerance is pretty much dead – and our thoughts can’t keep up with the speed of technology, much less children. … Continue reading
LIFE STORMS
We’ve been in a short duration of what is to come in Minnesota. Storms pop up suddenly and often without warning. The skies can be brilliant blue with a faint whisper of clouds and immediately become filled with darkness and … Continue reading
THE ULTIMATE BETRAYAL
At first his heart was filled with excitement to simply be with Jesus. Like the rest of the disciples, the message appealed to him. He had grown up with the promise of a Messiah and this Jesus seemed to fill all … Continue reading
WISDOM IN AGING
I’ve witnessed the birth of new life – watching as those precious, little lungs take their first breath. I’ve experienced holding my own breath as my little ones grew into adults. I’ve observed each step of their development with anticipation, … Continue reading
EARLY MORNING LIGHT
As the morning light arises, on a pasture green sublime, Sun light kisses trees and branches, balancing the sands of time, Though through danger I will wander, snares are set at every turn, God is there to guard my footsteps, leading me to … Continue reading
KING JESUS
You are my Lord and King. Without you I am lost. My praise to you I bring, for paying the great cost. You died upon the cross to save a wretch like me. You suffered pain and loss upon that … Continue reading
GOD, BE IN MY HEAD!
H. Walford Davies composed the hymn, “God, be in my Head,” and it was published in 1910. It has undergone some changes in arrangement over time, but the words remain the same. Those words sum up the Christian walk from … Continue reading
IS THERE SUCH A THING AS GOOD GRIEF?
We know that grief is a very common emotion among us humans, yet when we’re experiencing it, there is nothing anyone can say or do to keep the tears from falling – the heart from longing – the mind from … Continue reading
IN GOD’S PRESENCE
Life comes at us like a raging river at times, Pushing, crashing, dispersing its power, Seemingly overtaking us with its fury, Yet even in those times of fear, loss, despair and anxiety, God is there in the midst of it … Continue reading

PRESIDENT’S DAY
Somewhere between then and now it became politically incorrect to use the Bible as a reference point by presidents of our country. Ronald Reagan wasn’t afraid to talk about God or about the founding of our nation under God’s laws and … Continue reading
COCKEYED OPTIMIST
“Life is a train of moods like a string of beads, and, as we pass through them, they prove to be many-colored lenses which paint the world their own hue, and each shows only what lies in its focus.” Ralph … Continue reading
