As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

ON BEING A MOM
This time of year there are many platitudes floating around regarding motherhood and the fact that these wonderful people should be exalted to a pedestal. Being a mom is a life-changing, life-lasting and life-giving experience. It doesn’t end with the … Continue reading

A HUMAN VESSEL

I’M ONLY A MOTHER . . .
Several years ago, I played the part of Albert Peterson’s mother in the play “Bye, Bye, Birdie.” It was a dream role for me. I used my Jersey accent and every ounce of mother that was in me to portray … Continue reading
ON BEING A MOTHER
Some years ago, I played the part of Mae Peterson, the domineering mother in “Bye Bye, Birdie” in a community theatre production. At the time, my own kids were well beyond childhood, so I could relate somewhat to the character. … Continue reading
SUPER HEROES GOT NOTHING ON MOMS!
The media sometimes ends it news with one of those super hero stories to make us feel better after hearing all the garbage that fills our world. We’re hopeful that someone will come and make things better. We need someone to … Continue reading
THE INNER WORKINGS OF A MOM
Maybe it’s something to do with my past or my fear of failure that’s driven me to be a worrier. Maybe it’s something common only to women – especially when they become mothers. Maybe it’s a combination of both these … Continue reading
HOW DO YOU STACK UP?

I WAS A FUNNY MOM
My days of being a mother are long gone, but the memories linger on. Every once in a while, one of those recollections resurfaces and I wonder how I ever made it through the whole motherhood thing. I then tell myself (which … Continue reading
THE MISSING YEARS
I love the above picture of the young child, Jesus, alongside his step dad, Joseph, learning the tools of the trade. We really don’t hear much about His childhood, except for His presentation at the temple as an infant and later … Continue reading
