As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

HEALING IN LAUGHTER
A child’s laughter is one of the sweetest sounds in the world. Laughter from an elderly person with no teeth can be just as gratifying. Laughter can also indicate embarrassment, frustration or even panic. Laughter can trigger all kinds of emotions, but one thing … Continue reading
DISABLED BY OUR FEARS
The simplicity of Yoda’s words should be made into a plaque and hung in a conspicuous place in our homes. Fear has the ability to disable – to cripple – and crush us, if we let it. I’ve gotten hooked … Continue reading

FRIDAY CHUCKLES
I love dogs. I also like to laugh, so today I’ll step away from my normal seriousness and LOL. It’s not easy to find humor in the events of today, but I think it’s mandatory. Laughter has always been good … Continue reading

THERE’S NOT ANOTHER YOU

WOULDN’T IT BE NICE?
ART & INSPIRATION FROM PAUL & KATHY BOECHER© Wouldn’t it be nice if we could simply erase the events of the past? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Mondays indicated a new start – a fresh beginning? If all the world could … Continue reading
GOD FILLS ME UP
“Memories light the corners of my mind; misty water colored memories of the way we were.” The words to this Barbara Streisand song tell a very true story. We all have wonderful memories that we keep tucked in the recesses … Continue reading
MAKE ‘EM LAUGH
Ever since watching the movie, “Singing in the Rain,” I have great joy when I can make someone laugh. Maybe I should’ve become a standup comic. Is 78 too old to start a new career? The only problem I can … Continue reading
TURN IT OVER
There’s no doubt about it. We live in a crummy world. We can choose to make a difference, to change things, to sit around and fret about it, to hide ourselves from it or we can rid ourselves of the … Continue reading
AGING FOR THOSE WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR
I’m currently in the process of brainstorming, which could be dangerous for a 78 year old woman. The storming of my brain is nothing new, but the subject matter has changed over time. I used to write about funny parenting … Continue reading
WE HAVE A CHOICE
We never seem to outgrow fear. It’s an emotion that carries with it the scars of a lifetime. It’s something that grows with the years. Add our prejudices, anger, our negativity and our selfishness to it and we have a … Continue reading

EASTER LETDOWN
