As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Dust covers the now stagnant and aging photo albums on my coffee table. My youngest daughter still loves searching through those picture books – hoping to find memories of her own childhood. When it became easier to put them on … Continue reading

We go through many changes in our short existence. When we’re born, we struggle from the safety of our mom’s womb into an unknown and difficult world. We take our first steps as a leap of faith. We grow into … Continue reading

Today’s post is a rerun from 2013. Almost 9 years ago the word tolerance was becoming somewhat of a buzz word. I wonder when apathy with follow or has it done so already? Tolerance – The dictionary defines the word … Continue reading
WHAT SEASON ARE YOU IN?
I am fortunate enough to live in a state that demonstrates exactly what all four seasons are all about. Our winters are long, but filled with glistening snow, ice and cold air. The sound of snow plows fills the air … Continue reading
GET OVER YOURSELF
The image I’m showing today has nothing to do with the topic of this post. I just had to chuckle and share it with you, because I sometimes need reminders of the important things in life. Laughter is always beneficial … Continue reading
A RETURN TO NORMALCY?
The lockdowns are over. People are coming out of the security of their caves and joining the rest of the human race. Restaurants are up and running. County and state fairs will be open this summer. Festivals abound. Art shows, … Continue reading
SELF REFLECTION
It isn’t a matter of taking sides in a situation. We must first look at ourselves – our own mistakes and misconceptions – our flaws and voices that speak without thinking first. This week has been one of great ups … Continue reading
WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL
The only justice for a life of sin is death. Every person that walks the earth is guilty no matter how good they may appear. We have all been judged by God and fallen short of His expectations. When I … Continue reading

My dreams are often full of creativity and unusual thoughts which don’t usually manifest themselves in my daily life. Sometimes they become part of a play or story I’m writing. I had a whopper a while ago and I think even Joseph, the … Continue reading
IT’S SO SIMPLE
There is no doubt our world has gone mad. We see one thing after another that shocks, disables and paralyzes us. We could get wrapped up in the negativity. We might go on a rampage and start sputtering words of … Continue reading

THE KINGDOM OURS REMAINETH
The Christian church is under attack, just as it always has been. The Word of God is challenged daily and rewritten for man’s advantage. When God inspired His human scribes to pen the words He wanted the world to know, … Continue reading
