As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

GOD, BE IN MY HEAD!
H. Walford Davies composed the hymn, “God, be in my Head,” and it was published in 1910. It has undergone some changes in arrangement over time, but the words remain the same. Those words sum up the Christian walk from … Continue reading
DON’T GIVE UP
God gives us some good advice in James 1:3 & 4. He tells us to hang in there – to hold on to our beliefs – to trust in His wisdom. It isn’t always easy to do that, especially when … Continue reading
PRESIDENT’S DAY
Somewhere between then and now it became politically incorrect to use the Bible as a reference point by presidents of our country. Ronald Reagan wasn’t afraid to talk about God or about the founding of our nation under God’s laws and … Continue reading
FLEETING MEMORIES

WORDS OF TRUTH

THE DEVIL’S TOOLBOX

THE CHOSEN – SEASON TWO EPISODE 4
There are times when actions can speak much louder than words. I watched the 4th episode of “The Chosen” last night and found this to be true. The first several minutes held no dialogue whatsoever, but the story of two … Continue reading

WHO ARE WE?
Someone once said, “Change is inevitable – except from a vending machine.” Change can be good; it can drive us crazy; it can be difficult, but it will happen to everyone. When something disrupts our comfort zone it can really … Continue reading
MOTHERS WHO INFLUENCED MY LIFE
My mother in law had a great influence on me, because she gave birth to the man I would marry. She was a stately woman. When she was only 51, her husband passed away in the night laying beside her … Continue reading
SURVIVOR
I am not a fan of the reality series, “Survivor.” To me a real survivor isn’t self-serving, pompous, physically fit or one who is only in it to win. However this show has grown in popularity and “survived” for the … Continue reading

THE VOICE OF GOD

I WANT MY MOMMIE!
Don’t you just love it when there’s a little voice trailing behind you saying, “Mom – mom, mommie, mother, ma, mom, mom, mom? Little ones are constant sources of questions, needs, demands and wants. “I want a cookie,” “I want a new … Continue reading

JUSTIFIED
I wonder if we can ever be perfect, just like Jesus was. We say we’re Christians, but still we often stand in judgment of others. I don’t think we’ll ever achieve perfection on this side of eternity. Even though Jesus … Continue reading
