As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

WHAT ARE YOU WORTH?
When we grow old, some of our self-worth diminishes right along with our ability to get up each day. Somewhere during middle age we become so busy taking care of our family and building a life, we tend to forget … Continue reading
SOMEDAY THESE WILL BE THE GOOD OLD DAYS
I remember hearing stories about the good old days when I was a child. My grandmother would talk about riding a horse and buggy to town every Sunday for church and spending the rest of the day with relatives. There … Continue reading
A CITY IN ASHES
Our granddaughter was not yet born. The grandsons were little boys, now young men, unaware of the tragedy that struck. I remember pouring a cup of coffee and preparing to sit down and watch the news when it happened. In the … Continue reading
WHAT REMAINS?
Within the last few weeks our country has been devastated with deadly hurricanes, flooding and fires. All these natural disasters could make the average guy wonder what God is trying to tell us – if there is a God and … Continue reading
I SURVIVED VBS
Our new church only has VBS for one day, but the day is jam packed with outdoor activities, crafts, lots and lots of music, sweet little ones, art, games and time to spread the Gospel. As for the leaders, it … Continue reading
HAVE WE CHANGED SINCE 9/11?
It was like any other day. Crisp fall air cut through the endless humidity of a long hot summer. It was a day that would change lives, wound hearts and awaken patriotism. Church doors opened as thousands went to pray for those afflicted … Continue reading
