As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS IN THE BOOKS . . .
For many the Christmas season is over – to be packed away for another year – to be forgotten for another 300 or so days and then revived with the buying of more gifts, more parties, more over-indulgence – to extend … Continue reading

This is a rerun of what will probably be posted annually. It is a wonderful memory from several years ago, that will remain in my mind forever. There’s nothing like a Christmas pageant with children that seems to ignite all … Continue reading
LOVE ONE ANOTHER . . .
The last few days of Holy Week are packed with so much. On Thursday, He washed His disciples’ feet as a servant would. The institution of the Lord’s Supper occurred – a miracle meal that continues today. Jesus prepared His … Continue reading
THE MESSIAH IS HERE – PART TWELVE
In Jesus’ time, there was little regard for women. The traditions and laws of the Jews were extremely hard on them. Women were allowed to be in the Outer Court of the temple, so they could see and hear what … Continue reading
THE MESSIAH IS HERE – PART ONE
I’m beginning a series of stories, based on the Passion History of the Bible. The characters are fictional. I enjoy understanding the makeup of various characters – how they dress – how they talk – what they think and how … Continue reading

HE THIRSTED
(A fictional story of what might have happened on that original Good Friday. Many were moved by crucifixion of Jesus. Many came to follow Him. Many prophesies were fulfilled. The truth of the story is that He lived a human … Continue reading
A LAMB WITHOUT DEFECT
For centuries before the Messiah’s birth, the perfect sacrifice presented before the God of Abraham was an innocent little lamb. This would be the payment brought before God to ransom mankind from the hold of sin, but it was a … Continue reading
A CHILD IS BORN
A new life emerges. Air fills His little lungs. He lets out a big scream. His mother swaddles Him in strips of cloth already prepared for this journey. She snuggles Him tightly and kisses his curly head. This child entered … Continue reading
A PROMISE-FILLED JOURNEY
The months leading up to this journey were filled with shame, humility, fear, doubt and at times confusion. Mary had been given news of her purpose in God’s plan of salvation. She accepted the task with wonder. Even though she … Continue reading
PRESS THE PAUSE BUTTON
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could hit the pause button and stop the world for a while? Some days are more chaotic than others, but right now we all need to slow down and take a deep breath. We’re faced … Continue reading
