As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

WHEN ALL WE CAN DO IS PRAY . . .
As we look at our world today, we could get angry, frustrated, hopeless and even vengeful. What we tend to forget is that there is a much greater power that exists – a power that transcends all human understanding. It … Continue reading
THE BEGINNING OF BIRTH PAINS
It sometimes seems that every day brings another story of man’s inhumanity towards man. There is the noise of violence in every corner of our country. Dissatisfied and enraged voices scream for change. People are divided in their opinions, their … Continue reading
WAG THE DOG
I haven’t written a political post for a while. I’m trying with all my strength to avoid such things. There’s enough crud going on in our world today, however, I feel compelled to repost an article I wrote several years … Continue reading
CAN THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH?
Traffic sounds rumble early on a frosty morning. The crash of box cars echoes from the tracks. People running here and there with so much to accomplish and so little time. You become invisible in a sea of bodies rushing – … Continue reading
ENMITY WITHIN
ENMITY – Noun – a feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity; antagonism. Enmity isn’t a word we use very often. My first introduction to it was in Sunday school a long, long time ago, when we were … Continue reading
I’M MAD AND SO AM
The pot is being stirred again. Not by those who love this country, but by those who would love to see her fail and be overtaken by our enemies. In the last several years we’ve experienced a malady much more … Continue reading
THE PRIDE OF OUR NATION
The theater of battle was filled with trucks, tanks, warships and frightened men who weren’t sure of ever returning home. As they faced what seemed to be an unbeatable force, the fear of death had to be at the forefront … Continue reading
HOW DO WE FIGHT EVIL?
Lately with all the ugliness of this world, I’ve been feeling so helpless and useless. Our planet is slowing becoming polluted with evil and it’s hard not to become proactive. We can easily fall into a pit of desperation if we let … Continue reading
