As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THROW BACK THURSDAY – PERPETUITY
Perpetuity is one of those words we don’t make a lot of use of, but it’s one that should be brought forth again from time to time. It means timeless – eternal – everlasting – forever – to infinity and … Continue reading
PRAYERS FOR UKRAINE
I cannot begin to imagine what the Ukrainians are dealing with in their country. The United States seems oblivious to the wars that rage around us and seem eager to send money and arms, but not really providing any kind … Continue reading
LIFE STORMS

WISDOM IN AGING
I’ve witnessed the birth of new life – watching as those precious, little lungs take their first breath. I’ve experienced holding my own breath as my little ones grew into adults. I’ve observed each step of their development with anticipation, … Continue reading

The image above depicts what our landscape looked like a couple days ago. Within just a short period of time a snowfall of six inches, added to what was already on the ground. In just another short span most of … Continue reading
GOD’S RAINBOW
Many years ago, I wrote a musical play based on Noah and the Ark. It was called, “The Rainbow Promise.” In the final scene of the play, a rainbow appears to assure the people who were saved from the great … Continue reading
DOWNWARD SPIRAL
“I wonder if I’ve been changed in the night. Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I’m not the same, the next … Continue reading
CAN THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH?
Traffic sounds rumble early on a frosty morning. The crash of box cars echoes from the tracks. People running here and there with so much to accomplish and so little time. You become invisible in a sea of bodies rushing – … Continue reading
ARE YOU IN A RUT?
Are you trapped in a life that seems to be stuck? I woke up this morning feeling that way. The sun was streaming through the window and I felt that I must’ve overslept. I woke up wondering what would be … Continue reading
LIKE SANDS THROUGH THE HOUR GLASS
Deja vous all over again. As I happened to be scrolling through the smart TV to find some interesting entertainment to fill my empty mind, I happened upon an old favorite of mine. It was the continuing soap opera I … Continue reading
LIFE & DEATH
When we’re born, we come into the world screaming our little lungs out. When we leave it, many of us will do the same. Neither birth nor death is easy. We spend nine months safely tucked away in … Continue reading
ALL FOGGED UP
The opaque murkiness of an impenetrable sky surrounds you. Your mind swirls with empty thoughts. You feel alone, lost, unapproachable, frightened. There is nothing but an enclosing haze that makes your mind swim. A somberness encumbers you – shrouds you, … Continue reading
LED LIKE SHEEP
I’ve often voiced my opinion about the news media and how it’s changed over the years. Gone are the days of Edward R. Murrow, David Brinkley and Walter Cronkite. Who even remembers Paul Harvey? He was the one who put … Continue reading
THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD
1 Samuel 17:47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” As our world … Continue reading
DO YOU REMEMBER?
This photograph, reminiscent of the iconic flag raising at Iwo Jima, depicts a story of courage under fire like we’ve never seen before. On 09/11/2001 our nation was ravaged by a group of those intent on destroying our existence. Twenty … Continue reading
