As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

CHRISTMAS PAST
Oh what a lovely painting, filled with memories, nostalgia, days gone by and nothing but love. Carolers huddled together singing the songs of the season – warming each other with each verse. A house filled with good food, gifts, a … Continue reading

DEATH HAS NO POWER OVER ME
Death seems to be surrounding us lately. With the influx of new COVID cases, even those who are vaccinated are not immune to the last breath of life as we know it. My thoughts have turned to this subject of … Continue reading
I HAVEN’T GOT A CLUE!
There are days like that, when I simply don’t have a clue. I don’t understand why the world is rotating the way it is. I can’t begin to understand the workings of our nation’s leadership and Washington, DC is just … Continue reading
WORDS OF TRUTH
Aslan says, “though the Witch knew the Deep Magic, there is a magic deeper still which she did not know. Her knowledge goes back only to the dawn of time. But if she could have looked a little further … Continue reading
LIFE & DEATH
When we’re born, we come into the world screaming our little lungs out. When we leave it, many of us will do the same. Neither birth nor death is easy. We spend nine months safely tucked away in … Continue reading
THE DEVIL’S TOOLBOX
I know that my Redeemer lives and that I will inherit His kingdom some day. I believe that His resurrection from death is in truth what will happen to me when I die, but for some reason, that nasty old … Continue reading
KEEP ON KEEPING ON
Martin Luther spent the greater part of his young life trying to live up to his father’s expectations of him, his peers’ opinions of him and the church’s requirements of him. He thought that if only He was a better … Continue reading
ONE THING
In the movie, “City Slickers,” Jack Palance played a crusty old cowboy with a world full of wisdom. His words to Billy Crystal were intended to get the city dude to think about what’s really important in life. “One thing … Continue reading
WHAT SEASON ARE YOU IN?
I am fortunate enough to live in a state that demonstrates exactly what all four seasons are all about. Our winters are long, but filled with glistening snow, ice and cold air. The sound of snow plows fills the air … Continue reading

The interlacing vines hold substantial fruit. It is a wonder the grapes cling so tightly to the vine. As Jesus told His followers, He is the vine and we are the branches. Today, let’s consider feeding the thirsty with the … Continue reading
GET OVER YOURSELF
The image I’m showing today has nothing to do with the topic of this post. I just had to chuckle and share it with you, because I sometimes need reminders of the important things in life. Laughter is always beneficial … Continue reading

The image in this post shows the pollution that comes from forest fires, spreading insidiously across the skies and infiltrating the fresh air to the east of it. This is what’s going on in our firmament here in Minnesota and … Continue reading
