As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY!
Not long ago, the Powerball Lottery passed the billion dollar mark and everyone was scampering to win a lifetime of happiness. People enter sweepstakes or frequent casinos for that one chance to live on Easy Street. We all have hidden desires for wealth. Wouldn’t it be nice … Continue reading
LAUGH & THE WORLD LAUGHS WITH YOU
A child’s laughter is one of the sweetest sounds in the world. Laughter from an elderly person with no teeth can be just as gratifying. Laughter can also indicate embarrassment, frustration or even panic. Laughter can trigger all kinds of emotions, but one thing … Continue reading
HOW’S MY PRAYER LIFE?
As a redeemed child of God, I should have no problem communicating with Him, but as a child of the world I often put off or dismiss my need for prayer. I don’t always want to bother Him with my … Continue reading
RANDOM THOUGHT – GOD’S WILL
One of the hardest things we do in life is surrender to the will of God. We can never be like Him. The separation was made in the Garden of Eden. We can, however, find peace in letting go and … Continue reading
MY SURE DEFENSE

RANDOM THOUGHTS OF SUMMER
Original art by Paul T. Boecher© On these particularly cold, winter mornings of below zero temps and frosted window panes, it’s nice to look back at the beauty of emerald grasses, wildflowers and brilliant blue, clear water. I am blessed … Continue reading
ON BEING A WINNER
I’m originally a Wisconsin girl, so my heart was happy when the home team, the Green Bay Packers won yesterday. Spending most of my adult life in Minnesota, I was sad to see the Vikings lose by such a close … Continue reading
CLOTHES FROM GOD
As I get ready for another theater production, it means it’s time to sew. Often I will prick my finger on a pin or my eyes will get tired after a long day of costume construction. Once my sewing machine … Continue reading
RETIREMENT?
Those of us old fogeys in our 70s can laugh at this joke. Some in their 50s and 60s might chuckle a little, but to those in their 30s and 40s, this is no laughing matter. When Social Security was … Continue reading
DAY 6 JANUARY, 2016
Almost a week has gone by and all the resolutions made a few days ago may have already been discarded. We step from one year into another with hopes of making drastic changes, only to realize that life simply goes … Continue reading
NOTHING HAPPENS BY CHANCE
As we wind down another year, our natural tendency is to look back at the mistakes we made – the goals we missed – the lost opportunities – the habits we didn’t break. We look forward to a clean slate and … Continue reading
RANDOM THOUGHT
Original Art by Paul T. Boecher, “WINTER”© A fresh coating of snow is a great reminder of how God washes the darkness of sin from our hearts. His blood makes us whiter than snow.
THE FORCE
A long time ago, in a galaxy far away . . . someone is taking the message of peace all the way to the bank. Isn’t it interesting how the battle between good and evil continues to exist? What’s even more … Continue reading
I CAN’T WAIT
I have a real problem with patience. It all started when I was a child at this time of the year and it seemed an eternity until Christmas. I have to admit, I sneaked a peek a time or two and … Continue reading

REST IN HIS ARMS

GOD IS THE ANSWER
Terrorism strikes fear into all hearts and minds. Our human nature tells us to fight back – to stand up for what we believe – to give in to our feelings. By doing so, we have already lost the battle. … Continue reading
EARLY THANKSGIVING
Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving at our house. I know we’re early, but it has become a tradition for us, since my husband and son are Wisconsin hunters and hunting opens the week of Thanksgiving. In a way I feel blessed to … Continue reading
