As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures. John F. Kennedy True silence is the rest of the mind, and is to the spirit what sleep is to … Continue reading
SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL
My dreams are often full of creativity and unusual thoughts which don’t usually manifest themselves in my daily life. Sometimes they become part of a play or story I’m writing. I had a whopper last night and I don’t think … Continue reading
LAMP BESIDE THE GOLDEN DOOR
When I visited New York several years ago, there were cows everywhere. I ‘m not referring to herds of them running through the streets. Artists had painted these whimsical creatures to highlight some of the landmarks. My sister and I took photos standing in front of them, (before … Continue reading
MY HUSBAND, MY FRIEND

DOES GOING TO CHURCH MAKE YOU A CHRISTIAN?
Many think that they’re above reproach or no longer considered sinful if they simply attend church. Many are also there because they feel safe from the world outside. Some even use church as a place to compensate for the sins … Continue reading
LIGHT IN DARKNESS
His hand reached for the oil lamp in the darkness. He was enveloped in the deepest darkness he had ever experienced. He strained to see even a tiny glimpse of light – just a faint whisper – nothing. He groped, … Continue reading
I’M SO TIRED
I posted this two years ago and find myself in the same position today. When downsizing a house and getting rid of the clutter, I realize that I’ve actually been doing this for quite some time. Some things never change. We … Continue reading
WHO’S YOUR FATHER?
I’ve always thought it would be interesting to study my family tree and learn the kind of people I came from. The problem is, there were probably more than a few scalawags in the bunch, and I don’t necessarily … Continue reading
NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US
ORIGINALLY POSTED ON ATIMETOSHARE.ME ON 6/21/14 I came across this passage today and it made me think of how this life is so uncertain. We can share relationships and friendships – hardships and loss – joys and successes, but all those … Continue reading
