As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

MOVING
This past weekend, two of our adult children were on hand to weed through our garage. At every turn there was another box of costumes or wood for sculpting. My son graciously loaded up the back of his pickup with … Continue reading
LIKE A DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS
ORIGINAL ART & INSPIRATION BY PAUL T. & KATHY BOECHER© Last night as we drove home from the country, I half expected to have a deer jump out into the darkened roads. The sun goes down much earlier now and deer have been known … Continue reading
GET ME OUT OF THIS!
Some days, I just want to scream and holler at God. I want immediate answers to my prayers. I pray that life would go smoother. The nagging voice of the devil uses this weakness to tempt me into simply giving up. I seem … Continue reading
WHAT A FRIEND
Joseph M. Scriven penned these words 1855, but the still remain pertinent today. I have many friends who are facing difficulties in this world. Many I have never met, some are closer than actual family, and there are those who … Continue reading
MY WORLD
My week so far has hidden me from the outside world. First day of musical theater camp is complete and within that six hour time period, I could escape for a while from all the hub bub and bad news … Continue reading
ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE
Life around is has become engulfed with anger, hatred and rage. Riots, protests, demands, wars, terrorism, Jihad, ISIS, bombings have all become commonplace in our language. We could easily become depressed if we continually look at the dark side of life. … Continue reading
TROUBLE!
Originally posted on atimetoshare.me 7/06/14 Some folks think that becoming a Christian means gaining complete freedom from all our troubles. Not true! In fact, God never promised any of us a rose garden. Well, He gave us a perfect garden, … Continue reading
NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US
ORIGINALLY POSTED ON ATIMETOSHARE.ME ON 6/21/14 I came across this passage today and it made me think of how this life is so uncertain. We can share relationships and friendships – hardships and loss – joys and successes, but all those … Continue reading
GOD’S GIFT TO US
Yesterday I celebrated my 74th birthday. As my lifetime now enters almost 3/4 of a century, I can’t help but ponder what’s happened during that time. I’ve seen so many changes in technology, education, wars, moral decline, political corruption, exploration of distant planets and … Continue reading
WOE IS ME!
When it comes to being depressed, all you have to do is look at A.A. Milne’s character from “Winnie the Pooh,” Eeyore. That poor guy really had it bad – right? His biggest concern was making sure that his tail … Continue reading
BREAKING POINT
The top things that cause us stress in life have to do with our environment, our relationships, our work and our social lives. Each of these things should also be rewarding, but when you think about it, the most … Continue reading
BE QUIET
This has been whirlwind of a week. A couple of things I had planned on doing were accomplished, but I was also faced with some things I had absolutely no control over. It got me thinking that no matter how … Continue reading
HEAVY LOAD
Have you ever had days when you feel you just can’t carry another load? Do you feel overwhelmed by the burdens you’ve laid upon yourself? When Jesus invites us to come to Him for rest, He isn’t just talking about our … Continue reading
MY PRAYER LIST
My prayers list seems to grow longer each day. As we age that happens I guess. Many of our friends are reaching that time in life where intercession is needed. Their health is failing, their eyes and ears aren’t working … Continue reading
THE TANGLES OF EVERY DAY
We’ve been striving to downsize our life for the past few years, by weeding through a lifetime of things, memories and junk that continue to clutter and often get in the way of doing that. We continue to work at our jobs even … Continue reading
ARE YOU READY?
An open grave awaits the arrival of a new owner. Pall bearers gently remove a casket from its temporary home and set it upon a waiting bier. After tears and prayers it will be lowered into the dark, freshly dug soil and eventually … Continue reading
WIN, WIN SITUATION
Everyday, as I read my fellow bloggers’ post, I’m amazed at the positive attitudes of most of them. It makes me wonder if they ever have a bad day – a time when nothing seems to go right or a day … Continue reading
A BOTTLE FULL OF TEARS
A while back, I was trying to convince my granddaughter to put her crabby thoughts into a crabby box and forget about them. She laughed at the image and it got her smiling again for the moment. Wouldn’t it be nice if … Continue reading
OUR TIME OF GRACE
When we take our first breath, we begin a time of grace. For nine months we’ve been safely tucked in our mom’s womb, protected by her body and sheltered from the ugliness of the world. When we emerge from the boundaries of … Continue reading
DREAMS
The story of Joseph, the young interpreter of dreams, has intrigued people of all ages for centuries. Joseph didn’t always make friends when he related the meaning of dreams, but he continued to do so. I’ve been known to have some very weird … Continue reading
