As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE ARSENAL OF THE OPPRESSOR – EGO
In my early childhood, I was the first grandchild, so I had it made – at least I thought I did. I was a sweet little girl, with curls of golden blond. I learned how to tap dance and do … Continue reading
THE ARSENAL OF THE OPPRESSOR – BITTERNESS
This week my posts have to do with ways we can find ourselves under the thumb of the evil one – the real oppressor, the devil. Many may conclude that our greatest enemy today is our own government – the … Continue reading
IT’S JUST ANOTHER HUMP DAY
Apparently the origin of Hump Day occurred while a group of office workers were standing around the water cooler. Being the middle of the work week, Wednesday was tantamount to getting over the hump of said work week. Others allude … Continue reading
IF I ONLY KNEW THEN, WHAT I KNOW NOW
It’s too bad raising kids doesn’t come with a set of instructions. Many books have been written on the subject and most think they have all the answers, but each case is different and so is every child. There’s … Continue reading
CARRY ON

JEWELS OF DE NIAL MARATHON WEEK
As you know, I’ve spent the entire pandemic in a creative frenzy. My over 55 acting class fizzled out, but something wonderful sprang forth from it. The three women in the front row of these two photos (R to L,) … Continue reading

RESISTANCE
As indicated in the above cartoons, you can see the word “resistance,” means more than just one thing. There’s the kind of resistance we have to change, that pulls at us and causes us to become squeamish. There’s the resistance … Continue reading
A GRATEFUL HEART
When we give something of ourselves to benefit others, God tells us to do it with a grateful heart. If there is any malice in the doing or giving, we aren’t doing it His way. His love is perfect and … Continue reading

FOLLOWING IN OUR TRACKS
Thinking of all the tracks we lay while stumbling through each day, It soon becomes apparent that those lines get in the way, We struggle through each obstacle, we rarely look behind, But in those trials and roadblocks, great lessons we … Continue reading
STEADY EDDIE
So who exactly is Steady Eddy and what can we learn from him? You might consider the tortoise in Aesop’s fable about his race against the rabbit. Obviously the hare is designed for speed but his pride in his abilities … Continue reading
WHEN YOU THINK IT CAN’T GET ANY WORSE
The world is going to hell in a handbasket. It can’t get any worse than it is. When is this going to end? Those are the kinds of comments I’m hearing a lot these days. It seems we are on … Continue reading

WHAT IF YOU CAN’T WAIT?
In a world that’s filled with instant mashed potatoes, instant rice, instant news, instant results and instant madness its hard to wait. In the famous infomercials where they tell you, “But wait, there’s more,” it’s usually followed by a buy … Continue reading
HE DIED FOR ME
