As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

GOD’S PROVISION

MY COUNTRY ‘TIS OF THEE
My country tis of thee – who is the “thee” referred to in this song? Read the lyrics and you’ll see that it is God. Somehow, God has gotten placed in the background somewhere and we’ve forgotten to give Him … Continue reading
BRING ON THE FIREWORKS
Soon it will be time to get out the fireworks, set your lawn chair alongside the road and wait for the parade to pass by, to cheer and celebrate, but how many of us really know the reason we’re so … Continue reading
TALES FROM THE DARK SIDE
If only life were like a box of chocolates, but alas, I’ve been restricted – mostly self-inflicted – to a life of leafy greens, high protein and a lack of sugar. I’m not complaining, it’s just tough for an old … Continue reading
INVASION
Yesterday we experienced some torrential rain – enough so to push several inhabitants out of their homes and into ours. “Consider the ant,” says Proverbs 6:6. In that little passage we read how the sluggard – or the lazy one – … Continue reading
WHEN FEARS OVERTAKE US
“This world of ours… must avoid becoming a community of dreadful fear and hate, and be, instead, a proud confederation of mutual trust and respect.” Dwight D. Eisenhower When I was a young woman of 21, I lost my job … Continue reading
