As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

HOW ARE THOSE RESOLUTIONS WORKING FOR YOU?
Sad, but true, most of us make resolutions to change our lives in some way or another, only to fall victim to the same bad habits within a day or two. In some ways, it’s kind of like our relationship … Continue reading
UPSIDE DOWN
I’m not one to get on my soap box to spread gloom and doom. I’d much rather talk about the peace we can achieve through reading the scriptures. However, even in the Bible, there are stories of perversion of truth, … Continue reading

SORTING THROUGH THE GARBAGE
There is nothing like scrounging through the trash in search of something you lost. I’ve had that encounter many times. Once I lost a check and assumed I’d tossed it out with the insignificant mail. I had to wade through … Continue reading
SECRETS & LIES
In our world today, I think you would have to possess nerves of steel – be completely into yourself – believe you’re above reproach – have a spotless past – and possess a bit of insanity, to enter the political arena today. The … Continue reading
THE DARKNESS OF SIN
ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER© You beckon me before your throne. I have no plea to give. My sins are far too many. I don’t deserve to live, But still you call to me. You tell me it’s all right, … Continue reading
HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD
In 1999, an adventure/horror movie called “The Mummy” hit the big screen and we were witness to the dead coming back to life – embalming garb and all. Flesh began to cover near skeletal bodies – muscle replaced withered flesh … Continue reading
SATURDAY THOUGHTS
In a world confused about morality, conscience and sin, we’re faced with a real dilemma. The evil of this world has slowly deteriorated to the point of obliterating the truth of God. Our inability to accept the word “sin” has … Continue reading
THOSE DOGGONE WEEDS!
When we lived in our old house, I managed to create a garden of pretty epic proportions on a hill. It wasn’t just a mound, but a real hill, that almost required mountain boots to climb. That didn’t deter me. … Continue reading

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION
40 days without nourishment – living in a vast emptiness – alone, weary, hungry, weak, easy prey for the adversary. Jesus was about to begin His ministry as the Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness to be tempted by the … Continue reading
GETTING RID OF THE GARBAGE
One thing we think about as a new year arrives, is getting rid of some of our past baggage. Even in a day, we accumulate a bunch of it. We don’t just wake up, eat, take care of our personal needs and … Continue reading
DON’T LOOK BACK
We’re quickly approaching the end of another year. It’s time to pack up everything that happened in 2017 and add it to annals of history, but is it really a good idea to simply look ahead? We can learn much … Continue reading

He was one of the most dazzling of God’s creation. He was called, Lucifer, the son of the morning; the day star. He was there at the beginning – he’s been around through history and still exists today. He has charisma – … Continue reading
VALUE OF ALL THINGS LIVING
When our first grandson was a child of three, he had a complete grasp on the value of life. As I stomped on a pesky little ant as it scurried underfoot, he immediately called me out for taking the insect’s life. Of course … Continue reading
