As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

VALUE OF ALL THINGS LIVING
When our first grandson was a child of three, he had a complete grasp on the value of life. As I stomped on a pesky little ant as it scurried underfoot, he immediately called me out for taking the insect’s life. Of course … Continue reading

REMOVE THE PLANK
As we prepare for the coming solar eclipse, we’re being warned not to focus directly on it. If we do, we’re allowing for damage to the retina and possible blindness. I wonder if it would make any difference to our … Continue reading
SAYING GOODBYE
Yesterday was a day of bringing up old memories, wounds, dirt and cobwebs. We finally began to tackle the plethora of boxes within our garage. These cartons and crates were tucked away when we moved last fall, to be gone … Continue reading

ARE WE LIVING IN HELL?
I am trying my best not to tune into the news. I feel ignorance can be bliss. At least I have a temporary respite from the ugliness of our world. We can’t really escape all the darkness surrounding us by the flip … Continue reading
THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT
I’m a sinner and have no right judging another person, but I am truly concerned about the lack of common sense and not taking responsibility for our actions, which has infiltrated our nation. It’s another insidious tool of the devil … Continue reading

LITTLE SINS
Dawn Jones at INSPIRATION with an ATTITUDE had an interesting post today about tolerance. It got me to thinking how the devil works and what he’s done slowly sifting through humanity with his minions. His ideology would seem to be spreading … Continue reading
THE BOTTOMLESS PIT
A number of years ago, I wrote a story about a huge tree in the center of town that had lived there for centuries. The tree itself had magical powers to open at the command of some Spanish words. The … Continue reading
