As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

JUSTIFIED
I wonder if we can ever be perfect, just like Jesus was. We say we’re Christians, but still we often stand in judgment of others. I don’t think we’ll ever achieve perfection on this side of eternity. Even though Jesus … Continue reading
WHY?

WHAT GOOD DOES IT DO TO WORRY?
My maternal grandmother was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She had to bury five of her children, care for her husband who suffered two debilitating strokes and finally put him in the ground as well. She always maintained a positive attitude … Continue reading
SKIPPING THROUGH LIFE
This is not a picture of my husband and me, skipping along the beach, but I wish it was. We still have the ability to do so, but I’m afraid we’d have to stretch out for a few days before … Continue reading
KEEPING IT SIMPLE
The simplicity of the Gospel often boggles the mind. We are expected to believe something extraordinary – inconceivable – impossible. We delude ourselves into thinking there has to be more to it than just a childlike faith, but the truth … Continue reading
HE LIFTS ME UP

IT’S GOOD TO BE THE QUEEN!
Every young girl dreams of becoming a princess. When my sister and I were young, we’d pretend to be royals every night in the room we shared. We were supposed to be sleeping, but instead we’d have the sheets wrapped around … Continue reading
SOME THINGS GET BETTER WITH AGE
As time goes by, our bodies move slower; our minds need to take a while to digest things; our friends are dying or becoming disabled; the world around us seems to be taking on a totally different bend and we … Continue reading
LIBERATED
ORIGINAL ART & POETRY BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER© What is the price of liberty? Where lies the victor’s prize? Is it in bodies laying still, beneath the cold, dark skies? The cost to win our freedom cannot be seen in life, … Continue reading
GIVE THANKS
You may be a victim of domestic violence. You might hold some deep dark secret that would condemn you if the world knew about it. You may be in the throes of addiction. Why on earth would you thank God? … Continue reading
IS IT TIME FOR ANOTHER REFORMATION?
