As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW – PART TWO
When we were living in our last house, I had created a monster of a garden on the face of a hill that sat in front of our house. Maneuvering across that hill to weed and pamper the perennials I’d … Continue reading
CHARACTERS OF THE PASSION – PONTIUS PILATE
Pontius Pilate played a pivotal role in the crucifixion of Jesus, even though he had no reason to declare him guilty. The evidence brought against this criminal had nothing to do with Roman law. The only possible reason Pilate could … Continue reading
CONSCIENCE
Conscience is defined by Webster as an inner feeling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one’s behavior. Martin Luther spoke of his conscience as being captive to the Word of God and that he … Continue reading
WHERE IS THE TRUTH?
I grew up on fairy tales. These stories filled my brain with hopes of finding the perfect mate, the wonderful life, the answers to all my dreams and hopes. Unfortunately, those stories were also filled with fearful characters that got … Continue reading
WHAT IS TRUTH?
I wonder if Pontius Pilate had any idea what Jesus was saying when he heard the accused firmly state that he indeed was a king. Here was an ordinary criminal declaring His defense. Pilate probably was trying to engage our Lord … Continue reading
DATELINE JULY 18, 64 AD
It was a steamy summer night in the city of Rome. The wind picked up, bringing some relief, but before the night was over a large portion of the city was engulfed in flames. It started in the poorest part … Continue reading
NET WHAT?
Every time I go off on politics, I get negative feedback and it’s hard for an old lady to handle negativity. Someone was once said, “Relying on the government to protect our privacy is like asking a peeping Tom to install … Continue reading
