As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

WHO DO YOU TRUST?
Have we become a nation of skeptics? How many of us really trust our government? In the past few decades, I’ve seen a once strong nation, with strong patriotic and moral values, succumb to the lies of career politicians, stand back … Continue reading
BITING MY TONGUE … AGAIN
I know I’m going to regret writing this, but there is no doubt where I stand with our current administration and it’s difficult to be quiet when our nation is sliding deeply into the toilet. Our world standing as a … Continue reading
NET WHAT?
Every time I go off on politics, I get negative feedback and it’s hard for an old lady to handle negativity. Someone was once said, “Relying on the government to protect our privacy is like asking a peeping Tom to install … Continue reading
TIME FOR A KATHY RANT
Have we been overtaken by fear of an unknown enemy? Are we reluctant to speak out because we are afraid what we say may go viral and have negative effects to our reputation or our families? If this is the … Continue reading

HISTORY LESSONS
I wasn’t much interested in history as a child. I should’ve been. I had one of the most dramatic history teachers ever. He would actually rise up on his desk and relive every battle of the Civil War right before … Continue reading
THE WILD FRONTIER
Picture a time where guns were a part of your daily apparel – where they were used to put food on the table, go to war and defend yourself. Now think about the outlaw who used his guns to terrorize the community – to hold up … Continue reading
WE NEED TO CALL ON THE LORD!
We look at the things occurring in our world today – many times with hopelessness and apathy. We think we are powerless to do anything so we give up. Is this the spirit our nation was founded on? What if … Continue reading
GOD USES ORDINARY PEOPLE TO ACCOMPLISH THE EXTRAORDINARY
Last night I watched a program on the history channel which appeared to discredit our founding fathers by exposing all the secrets they could possibly dig up. At first I thought I was watching an episode of TMZ, but this was … Continue reading

Time for a Kathy rant
It sounds like fodder for a novel. Espionage, corruption, criminal border crossings, a market for sex slavery, information breaches, drug cartels, the rapid spread of a communicable disease, unemployment, failed government intervention and bailouts of large corporations, a flawed health … Continue reading
COLUMBUS DAY
