As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

COME ON OVER!
Since we moved into our “new” old house, we’ve had a number of visitors. Some came to welcome us to the neighborhood, some came out of curiosity to see this 1885 property. There were those we told to stop by … Continue reading
HIDDEN THINGS
When Easter ends, we often find reminders around the house that keep the thoughts alive for just a little longer. Maybe it’s one of those plastic eggs that never was found. Perhaps a few jelly beans have made their way … Continue reading

WATER COLORED MEMORIES
I admit that my memory has faded over the years. However, I feel it’s kind of a defense mechanism. Maybe God has sifted through some of the junky memories that are no longer necessary for me to hang onto. We often … Continue reading
PINTEREST FAILS
OK, so the cupcakes didn’t turn out like the picture. Your hair went straight in the humidity. Perhaps the kids were all dressed perfectly for church and within two seconds, they were out in the mud looking for Easter eggs. … Continue reading
TRUTH

THE FINAL SACRIFICE
It was the hour of the evening sacrifice when Jesus took His final breath and commended Himself to His heavenly Father’s hands. The final sacrifice was now complete. His distorted, gory, pitiful body was lifeless. It was getting late. The work … Continue reading
SUFFERING SAVIOR
During the time of His arrest, by a vigilante gang of leaders of the church of His day, Jesus stood uncomplaining. He suffered the brutal threats and insults. He withstood the humiliation of being spat upon and assaulted by His … Continue reading
