As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT
When I teach acting students, I refer to them as instruments. We all possess the skills to accomplish things we never thought possible. An actor requires many tools to do their craft. First and foremost is the brain. We must … Continue reading

PAINTING EN PLEIN AIR
I’m married to an artist. He often has to search for a pair of pants that hasn’t been tainted with oil or acrylic paints. Sometimes shirts are as difficult to selvedge. Still, I’m particularly fond of this artist. When he was set … Continue reading

ALMOST FINISHED
Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures. John F. Kennedy True silence is the rest of the mind, and is to the spirit what sleep is to … Continue reading
DO YOU FEEL LIKE A FAILURE?
We all have days that start out with plans to take on the world only to have them dashed the minute we take one step out of bed. Who knew there would be a Lego underfoot? No matter how strong we … Continue reading
RANDOM THOUGHT – GOD’S WILL
One of the hardest things we do in life is surrender to the will of God. We can never be like Him. The separation was made in the Garden of Eden. We can, however, find peace in letting go and … Continue reading
THE STORM OF THE DECADE
Remnants of carved Jack-O-Lanterns hidden by a blanket of snow. Little trick or treaters tucked into their beds as folks pushed shovels to stay ahead of the storm. The blizzard of October 31, 1991 buried Minneapolis in more than 2 feet of fresh … Continue reading
AIRPORT TIME
i had some time on my trip back home to do a little people watching at the airport. When you think about it, we kind of become captives of the airlines, because we either have to wait forever or we … Continue reading
