YOU ARE A MASTERPIECE

ORIGINAL ART & INSPIRATION BY PAUL & KATHY BOECHER

“While we have the gift of life, it seems to me the only tragedy is to allow part of us to die – whether it is our spirit, our creativity or our glorious uniqueness.”

Gilda Radner

Each one of us was uniquely handcrafted by the power of God.  He infused His breath into our lungs – created each vital organ to serve only one purpose – to keep us alive.  Each one of us is unique.  Our DNA proves that.  Each life contains cells that can become an Einstein – Edison –  Gates. He created us that way and He has a blueprint already mapped out for lives.

Make this first day of 2017 the start of the fulfillment of His plan. Allow Him to shine through you.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

  1. This is wonderful, Kathy, and so encouraging!

I treasure the words of encouragement and compassion in the comments that you left on my blog a couple of days ago. I am taking them to heart, especially what you said In your last comment: “By telling your story, you will heal many and you will finally be healed too. Don’t be afraid or ashamed. Many people simply need to know they aren’t alone in their suffering.”

I appreciate those words so much, that I am going to write your comment on a 3×5 card and tape it where I can see it while I’m writing. I would also like to include it as a quote near the beginning of my book, if that’s all right with you?

If you wish to read my completed manuscript before giving your OK on my use of your quote, that will be fine. However, it will be awhile before my pre-published memoir is ready to be read.

I want to let you know that I am taking a break from blogging for awhile. On the way to church yesterday, I was praying fervently, asking God to show me His will for this New Year. I asked Him to please either help me finish my book, or else give up the idea entirely, if writing a memoir is not His will for me. Then I felt like the Lord put it on my heart to write every day except Sunday, because now is the time for me to write this book. What came to my mind after that, was how many hours I spend in a day, reading and commenting on blogs.

So for this reason, I have made my blog private temporarily and unfollowed all of the blogs I was following. This is not a New Year’s resolution, this is just what I felt God put on my heart yesterday.. I miss my blogging friends already, and you are chief among them. Thank you again for your encouraging words, both in your comments to me, and here on your uplifting blog. God bless you and your loved ones in this new year. ❤

Linda, your words are such a blessing to me. I know it’s hard to lay your life out there for the world to see. Most of the time we like to gloss over the ugliness so people will think better of us. I feel honored that you would be inspired by my words. Your story is an amazing one of survival in adversity. You are welcome to share my words. I will miss seeing your words, but I totally understand what you’re saying. I spend way too much time on this. Hoping to compile some of my stories and poetry into a book. Maybe get published and finally retire. God bless you with your memoir. I know it’s going to be great. Happy new year too!
