As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

I don’t think there’s a person in our country that doesn’t know the 2016 presidential race is now officially underway. The first potential female president threw her hat into the ring via a tweet and social media has exploded … Continue reading

PUTTING IT INTO OUR DAILY WALK
The beautiful music still resonates in my mind. The pews will not be as full at least until Christmas, but still the good news of salvation has reached the ears of many. The flowers slowly droop and wilt and are eventually … Continue reading

HE SUFFERED AND WAS BURIED
In remembering my little babe’s hands, I recall ten tiny fingers on smooth dimpled hands. These little fingers would grasp tightly to mine and in an instant he took hold of my heart. Each day, as he grew, those hands became bruised and scuffed as … Continue reading
DO NOT BE AFRAID
Out of the depths of my transgression, my heart screams for relief. I grumble – I complain – I even blame God for my shortcomings. How dare I challenge the Creator of heaven and earth? Who do I think I … Continue reading
MISSION TO SAVE

PRINCE OF PEACE
It was shortly after Lazarus had been brought back to life. His sister, Mary, lovingly anointed Jesus with oil. The aroma of expensive nard filled the room. I wondered why Mary was bestowing this honor on my boy. The use of such … Continue reading
GOD AND MAN
He spoke about the destruction of the temple and we all thought he was talking about the building in Jerusalem. He talked of things beyond our human comprehension. He quoted scripture as if he had authored the words. His advice … Continue reading

HE WAS CHANGING THE WORLD
The crowds grew day by day. Soon there were so many, he had to go to the top of a mountain to speak to them. They waited eagerly and hung on every word he had to say. Many of those words … Continue reading
THEY FOLLOWED HIM
He was beginning to establish quite a following. There were a number of men who left their jobs and families behind just to be part of this work my son was starting. His cousin, John, had laid the groundwork by … Continue reading
MEMORIES REVIEWED
Memories can surface when we least expect them to. Sometimes we tuck them away knowing they have value, but just aren’t sure what that is until we need them the most. My mind was swimming of thoughts of my boy. Those early … Continue reading
WHO KNEW?
