As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

MODERN DAY PHARASEES?
Has the modern day church become like the Pharasees of Jesus’ time? It’s sad to think of this happening, but in most organized religions it has. We become so wrapped up in the law of God’s Word and traditions of days gone … Continue reading

WHY GO TO CHURCH?

WHAT’S IN A NAME?
When it comes to naming a new baby, many things are taken into consideration. I remember being asked about my daughter Joy’s name some years ago. The person wondered if we waited for a while to name her because she … Continue reading

MY TREASURE
The prophet said it plainly. The Son of God would come To be the perfect sacrifice for each and every one. The words have been fulfilled. The Lamb of God was slain; Our sins have all been washed away and … Continue reading
SIMEON
Some folks forget that Jesus was a Jew. His mom and step dad were both from the lineage of King David, so they were steeped in Jewish tradition and law . It was the custom for a male child to be circumcised and … Continue reading
THE PROTAGONIST
He was like any ordinary little boy born with ten fingers and toes. To His mother, more than a miracle – to His dad, a stepson who would definitely follow in His Father’s footsteps. To the shepherds He was … Continue reading
CAMEO APPEARANCE
A cameo appearance is usually reserved for someone who has already made their mark. In this case, Gabriel, the Archangel had appeared in Old Testament times to Daniel and Ezekiel, but now was his greatest hour. He was referred to … Continue reading
A POWERFUL TYRANT
