As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

DON’T MESS WITH MR. IN BETWEEN
It was 1945. I was only three years old and didn’t know much about war. I didn’t understand hate. I didn’t know what it was all about, but I did love the music of that time period. My parents both … Continue reading

WE HAVE A CHOICE
We never seem to outgrow fear. It’s an emotion that carries with it the scars of a lifetime. It’s something that grows with the years. Add our prejudices, anger, our negativity and our selfishness to it and we have a … Continue reading
OBEDIENCE

THE AMAZING INVISIBLE WOMAN

WHERE DOES YOUR STRENGTH COME FROM?
It’s summertime here in Minnesota. Fish are jumping and the corn will be knee high by the fourth of July. Folks are venturing out of their cocoons as restrictions are slowly lifted – some with the frenzy of anxiety driving … Continue reading
ONCE UPON A TIME …
This was written during my time off when a call for defunding the police occurred in my state. In a time when streets were unpaved, when men rode around on horseback rather than sitting behind the wheel, steering an obscene … Continue reading
I’M BACK
I’ve been gone for three weeks now. I was on a vacation of sorts. I think we all need a time out once in a while to regroup – to restore – to regenerate. In that time, I’ve been sorting … Continue reading

DON’T WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW . . .
Each day is a blessing. We’ve made it through another night. Our hearts are beating and breath fills our lungs. We’re not dead yet. There are times when I wish that my life would end. I’m the age where many … Continue reading

WHERE IS GOD?
There is so much to be thankful for in a world that seems to have run amok. We wonder where God is in all this, but can’t seem to put our finger on Him. We know His promises are always … Continue reading
