As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

WEDNESDAY WISDOM

OBEDIENCE
Our last dog lived to be almost 12 years old. When he was a pup of six months, we decided it was time for some obedience training. We enrolled Gage in Puppy Obedience School with high hopes that the commands … Continue reading
LIMITATIONS & RESTRICTIONS
Just look at those eyes. This poor pup normally has this look on his face, even when he’s content. Put a cage in front of him or any other animal and that face becomes desperate, hopeless, disturbed and so much … Continue reading
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO COVET?
The word covet isn’t used much today. Instead we talk about greed, desire, longing, craving, lust or wanting what someone else has that we don’t. Both the 8th & 9th Commandments are similar because they talk about how our passions … Continue reading
IT’S THE LAW!
It seems the world is sliding along the edges of rules and laws today. Are the simple things, like the difference between right and wrong, being set aside because we think we no longer need that kind of guidance? Are … Continue reading
SIN
I read an article yesterday pertaining to words Christians use, which most folks don’t understand – words like sanctification, justification, redemption and little words like behold, blessings and sin. These words apparently aren’t on the minds of those in the … Continue reading
RULES OR SUGGESTIONS?
The Ten Commandments were not given as suggestions or options, but as definitive laws which we must obey. The laws of our land are also intended to be kept, and if not they will have penalties. The penalty for not … Continue reading

RULES OR GUIDELINES?
There are rules everywhere we go in life. As children we learn that we must say please and thank you. We must wash our hands before eating. When we go to school and learn the rules of the classroom. You … Continue reading
