As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

When I went to bed last night, I didn’t think about the possibility of not waking up, but when you get to be my age, the odds of that happening become more likely. When we’re children we pray, “Now I … Continue reading

In my day, a time out required sitting in a corner, facing the wall and thinking about the naughty thing I had done. It followed my bad behavior and a spanking. It wasn’t really called a time out. It was referred to as … Continue reading

Everyday, as I read my fellow bloggers’ post, I’m amazed at the positive attitudes of most of them. It makes me wonder if they ever have a bad day – a time when nothing seems to go right or a day … Continue reading
THE GOOD WIFE
Today I was going to write about Job’s exhortation accepting the bad things that happen along with the good. When confronted by his wife to denounce God, he said, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. … Continue reading

I know I’m going to regret writing this, but there is no doubt where I stand with our current administration and it’s difficult to be quiet when our nation is sliding deeply into the toilet. Our world standing as a … Continue reading
SHUT DE DO, KEEP OUT DE DEBIL!
The devil is accustomed to using our shortcomings to weaken our faith. He did it in the Garden of Eden by tempting the first humans into thinking they could become like God by eating the forbidden fruit. He did it in the … Continue reading

IN CHRIST ALONE
I wonder if we can ever be perfect, just like Jesus was. We say we’re Christians, but still we often stand in judgment of others. I don’t think we’ll ever achieve perfection on this side of eternity. Even though Jesus … Continue reading
I AM JESUS LITTLE LAMB
To most of us, sheep don’t seem especially bright. In fact they move in herds, because if left alone they’ll surely stray and walk straight into a dangerous situation. We are often led as sheep to the slaughter by those who would deceive … Continue reading
