As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER
I’m reminded of Charles Schultz and his character Lucy. Her definition of team work went something like this, “These five fingers, individually they’re nothing but when I curl them together like this into a single unit, they form a … Continue reading
ARE WE LIVING IN HELL?
I am trying my best not to tune into the news. I feel ignorance can be bliss. At least I have a temporary respite from the ugliness of our world. We can’t really escape all the darkness surrounding us by the flip … Continue reading

A DIRECT LINE
It must have been wonderful to communicate directly with God as did men of ancient times. Though they couldn’t see Him, they were given the benefit of His spoken word. The truth is we still have the ability to communicate … Continue reading

Someone once told me that if you have something precious, and you don’t share it with others, you’re being selfish. That really makes sense, especially if you have a specific talent like singing, or writing or painting. If you keep … Continue reading

WATER COLORED MEMORIES
I admit that my memory has faded over the years. However, I feel it’s kind of a defense mechanism. Maybe God has sifted through some of the junky memories that are no longer necessary for me to hang onto. We often … Continue reading
SILENT SATURDAY
Last night, as we said these words in church, the voice of Jesus was so apparent to me. How could those who placed Him on the cross not have known that this indeed was their promised Messiah? The words had been … Continue reading
