As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

THE AMAZING GAGE
While our family visited last week, Gage showed off his balancing skills. This was quite an accomplishment for him, since he’s usually too active to balance anything, much less on his head, I do think we may need a dog … Continue reading

DON’T LOOK BACK
We’re quickly approaching the end of another year. It’s time to pack up everything that happened in 2017 and add it to annals of history, but is it really a good idea to simply look ahead? We can learn much … Continue reading
JULIE’S FRIDAY FUNNY
DEAR YODA: 2017 filled it was with emotions mixed. Struggled did we and shed tears we did. Lived we did through sadness and loss. Part of God’s plan was it. Know we do, that good it is. New Year happy may be. Road blocks there … Continue reading

Mini-bird houses painted by our two daughters, granddaughter, oldest grandson and grandma and grandpa. This has been a delightful week in so many ways. Not only are we celebrating our Savior’s birthday, but we’ve been enjoying a long awaited visit … Continue reading
BE NEAR ME, LORD, JESUS
Is it over? The trash cans line the streets for weekly pickup and they’re stuffed with discarded wrapping paper, empty boxes, leftovers from massive overindulgence, ready to be hauled off to the city dump and crushed into a dlandfill. Is this what’s left of … Continue reading
PEACE CAME TO EARTH
We travel this life talking to, relying on and trusting God, but the thought of actually meeting Him face to face is often inconceivable. God loves us so much that He took on human flesh – went through the trauma of … Continue reading
